OutsideRzAcE
Feel bad saying it, but he had that look to me... I caught some of harbs' presser on the way home.he said it was something stupid not something "bad" like steroids. He was annoyed but didn't seemed too concerned. He left it up to Boyle to reveal what it was.
papasmurfbell
90% of the time it is something stupid like Adderall.
TBird
Well, that's what you get for drafting someone from whittle bity Delaware. He must have felt he needed it. He was my favorite rookie. Radio said Joe played last 2 games with injured shoulder and is getting MRIbut his knee is being operated on today - I think.
papasmurfbell
He should be under the knife right now.

Well, since he did it again, I guess maybe it was "bad".... plenty of tight ends out there like him, kick him to the curb.

dc.
I find the knee jerk cut dudes for stuff like this is insane.Well, the Sun had a good talk of it. I don't think it would be knee jerk. He's cheap, twice in trouble in six months, we have two solid tight ends and another back up, it's early in off season to replace, etc... Let him be someone else's flier. No head feelings, but not our mess anymore...
papasmurfbell
But he costs the team nothing to hold onto. He can have value later on as bait.
dc.
Well, financial cost is nothing.... but the "attitude" or "philosophy" cost could be substantial. That's a matter of opinion, but something that isn't unnoticed. Bottom line, keeping a guy making those mistakes (repeatedly) could be sending a message about what's tolerated or not, who's a favorite and not, etc...
cravnravn
But he costs the team nothing to hold onto. He can have value later on as bait. What? The stupid fuck can't stay clean for 6 months, see ya Nick, he's not even bait
papasmurfbell
Not yet. Get him going now after week 4 and next off season he can be bait.
cravnravn
Why even mess with the situation, he's proved where his priorities are
papasmurfbell
Why have Mallett on the team. Could be a bad influence.
dc.
Why have Mallett on the team. Could be a bad influence.Fair. But it is also different to bring someone in for redemption than let someone sin under your own watch. Or it could be viewed that way
cravnravn
Why have Mallett on the team. Could be a bad influence. We are still clueless as to why mallett was late for Texans practices, there are no stories out there that he was partying all night, maybe the kid has sleep apnea?
papasmurfbell
Mallett didn't have these issues in NE. It can only be an attitude thing. DC I disagree. A QB is more important than a 3rd string TE. Again the kid costs nothing for the Ravens to keep him on the wait till later roster. Come week 11 he can be fresh legs that the team desperately needs. oldno82
Cut him. Let some other team allow him his third strike. Sorry to see him go but it wouldn't be a good signal to the team to keep him after 2 infractions and a whopping 10 game suspension.
