Any The Walking Dead Fans?

I love how they use symbolism in the show. The prison at first seemed like a safe haven/fortress. Now its literally become a prison of misery, especially the part with Hershel pleading with the people to get back into their cells. Do you guys agree with Rick's decision to banish Carol? At what point do you kill people that you perceive as a threat? I didn't agree with Carol... but Rick's killed in the past to protect the group so is Carol that far off?

I read the comics. Things are so different that I dont think they help me guess whats going to happen too often.

The two of them were quarentined and did not pose much of a rick to the others. I like Carol, and understand her motivation, but I think what she did was wrong.

If we are taking my morals as of today, then yes what Carol did was wrong. If I were to guess where my morals would be during an apocalyptic event such as what the group are dealing with, I would have helped Carol burn the bodies and then smacked Rick and Tyrese around the head with a zombie arm and told them to wise up, I ain't dieing of no disease after surviving the walkers to get here.

Only the strongest will survive and Carol was showing she is now strong enough to make the tough decisions.

Its hard to tell what I would have done. Were we sure that the flu was %100 fatal at that point? Manpower was so hard to come by would we want to easily euthanize people?

On a side note... who do you think was feeding the walkers? I think it was the little girl since she seems to look at them like pets

I just dont think killing two quarentined people made the group that much safer, if at all.

And I understand Rick, having two children, not wanting her to come back with them. I often disagree with him, but I was OK with this choice.

Have watched since early on. I have a mixed relationship with the show. In some ways, it is great TV and does the "zombie" topic in a very novel and professional way - much cooler than similar. At the same time, I struggle with bad writing (dialogue and choices) and poor acting. I also find it can drag tremendously at times (the Governor back and forth got very slow for me last year) and then they can suddenly rush through five story lines in one episode. I find it uneven.

Anyway, I continue to watch - probably most because my wife really likes it and we watch together.

Lastly, I do believe the little girl is going to have a huge role in a number of things. She was certainly the one feeding the walkers. My first guess was she killed the two who were sick - I still wouldn't doubt if that turned out to be real. I am sure she is trouble.

Rick annoys me, though. I wish the show would continue to move away from the Rick-centric narrative. They have at times, but they just come right back to him as the "center" of it all.

I kind of liked the change of pace with this episode all about the Governor. I know he was bad but that was cold leaving him in the middle of the night. The way he was walking around I thought someone was going to mistake him for a walker and shoot him.

Meh. Couldn't disagree more RavenMad. That episode was so boring, I pretty much gave up and did other things while my wife watched.

If he's coming back, fine. Bring him back. Start up the feud - as boring as that would be. But let's waste 2 episodes just following his walk around? Blah.

I would have liked the episode better if it would have been about a new character or a missing old one. How about Morgan? But not so much with the Guv'na. Not only is he not a nice guy but he is also insane so I think humanizing him was a waste of time.

Plus I thought the last episode focused on the flu and Herschel was good so I am not happy they are spending two episodes away now.

The pacing of this season seems really off...... The last few episodes in the prison were really ratcheting it up. The episode with Hershel was great....now they put a fluff episode with the governor in? I'm guessing the next few episodes are going to be the gub'na re-establishing himself in the new camp. Shouldn't they have done this at the beginning of the season so you can ratchet the intensity up towards the midseason finale? The Wire was really good that this. They seem to be focusing on better walker deaths and not character development. Personally I liked the character development better then the walker kills. I like the moral dilemmas that come with the Apocalypse. Carol killed (in cold blood) for the protection of the group and Rick banished her for it.... but Rick has done worse (remember the bar in season 2).

Not enough time, unless they're showing a preview of the remainder of the season and if that's the case, I'll be pissed. I think Hershel will die and his daughter with Judith. Much like the comic, someone will see that a child dies and offs the Governor, probably his new gf...

Hershel has become one of my favorite characters. I don't he'll make it in the finale. The Govenor is the luckiest man in the Apocalypse... scores with half of Woodbery/Andrea... losses his army ... walks around for a couple months.... gets a new gf and army in the coarse of a week.
