No. That is the point. They stay with their abusers even when they have the ability to get away.

 

 

But rarely, rarely, are they confident enough to stand up the abuser. If you notice how she reacts and acted when he "spit on her" outside the elevator, and then again inside, it is clear, she is not affraid of him, thus, he likely has never done this before.

I don't knwo enough about abuser abusee dynamics to be able to determine that. I didn't even know that the meeting that they had where she was sitting with Ray was inappropriate. After they said that was the wrong protocol it made sense to me but I never knew that.

 

 

Wait a minute. You are not allowed to assume around here. That priviledge is reserved exclusively for Papa.

Far from it. Just don't discount the obvious to get to the easy narrative.
