But the cops were involved after neighrbors called in about a fight. Someone broke a bone....it's not clear who. And Dwyer took the woman's phone away so she couldn't call the cops. The Cardinals may be the latest team to be playing dumb. This incident happened in July, and the Cardinals are denying having any knowledge of it until today. That's possible....but it's hard to believe they had zero knowledge of it. The NFL LITERALLY has a network of Ray Donovan types around the country. One assigned to every team. Others are in non NFL markets just in case players get in trouble elsewhere. They are mostly former FBI agents who have contacts and hospitals and police departments alerting them of NFL players in trouble. Here's a whole story about it. It's really quite interesting.
