Ravens only 2 players away from another Super Bowl

This article says we're a WR and a secondary guy away from another

SB but it was written before Torrey and Ngata left. We're still Ok

with Ngata gone but need more than 1 receiver now that Torrey is

gone and I wouldn't be surprised if Ozzie didn't draft any WRs or

until the bottom round like last year with Campy.

With Ngata gone, it wouldn't surprise me to draft another pass rusher

in the first two rounds.

WARNING: Flacco is only listed as an average QB.

HARBs will speak to the press at the owners meeting on

Tues and list these needs for the Ravens. From their site.

Tuesday: Ravens coach John Harbaugh will sit down with reporters for an hour, and he'll update

where the team stands in free agency.

The Ravens still have needs at wide receiver, tight end, cornerback and backup quarterback.

Hey Smurf:

Here's you're return guy.Ravens are bringing him in to interview. He's

also a WR but too small to replace Torrey as #2 guy.

DeAndre Carter is not a Torrey Smith replacement by any means, however. He’s just simply too small at 5’8″ and 186 pounds, but he does possess the game breaking talent to be a solid kick returner and situational threat on offense. Carter had a very productive college career, racking up 207 receptions for 2760 yards receiving and 35 touchdowns across 41 games.

Article was written 2 weeks after we were eliminated. We are more then 2 players away, losing ngata, mcphee,Daniels, jones cutting pearce that all adds up. Jones was a 2 position guy who was definitely a threat to take one back every time he touched the ball.

They were spokes in a very successful wheel we had,

Maybe because I'm a pessimist but i see this team seems very thin at several positions

WR - With an aging Steve Smith, injury prone Camp, and let down 2014 M Brown...this is a huge problem

TE- An unproven Gilmore is our #1

RB- Was Forsette a flash in the pan? No really #2 Talifaro and a few journeyman RBs

CB- on paper its still solid with Webb,Smith, and Asa... who knows

Safety- Lewis is a solid pickup with Hill in the starting backfield.....but no depth past that

So many places they need to go..... Maybe a draft day trade to bring in a few vets to add depth

This is how much we have under the cap now and it doesn't include two more positions to be added in the calculations later:

Plus, you have to hang on to some of that in case of injuries.

This is why I keep beating the cut Gradkowski, Arthur Brown drum. It would free up almost $2 million more.

just a thought, trade Arthur Brown for Vernon Davis, Niners need some interior linebacker help and we need a TE. maybe throw in a 4th or 5th

The problem with a trade is we get him at his current contract. Idk about his signing bonus but his base salary is 4.3 mil. That would be a big hit if he can't get over his injures.

So why can't he make it onto the field, i know he was having problems with the mental part of the game, but after 2 years going on 3 years he should be up to speed ,and if he isn't he is just too stupid to play at this level. Coming out , he looked pretty good in coverage , which is important in this NFL and he's an athletic IBer so whats the deal
