Arthur Brown coming along but.....

The #2 draft pick two years ago just hasn't been able to make the field. He's improved a lot and is coming along but he still has too much

talent in front of him like Ravens #1 pick Mosley last year and D. Smith.

It's frustrating for him. Several teams have tried to trade for him but Ozzie always declines. He was originally projected in the first round and

DeCosta said he was one of the best line backers in his draft class.

HE NEEDS TO TAKE OVER THIS GAME TONIGHT!

Did not happen, a few tackles, a caused fumble. Frankly, against the caliber of talent neither he nor Orr stood out other than a play here or there. No depth behind the two starters, they may have to switch to a 5-2 to keep the best front seven on the field. Look for two new linebackers draft next year, one of them, likely in the first round. Some good ones coming out.

What do you think of Beyer as an OLB prospect?

I think Stan said it best last night; practice squad for sure. He is very raw but showed over each game, he learns quickly, rarely repeats a mistake and he is very smart. It is clear he studies tape as many plays as he jumped/sniffed out. The question is can he get stronger and a bit quicker?

He is a keeper right now on the practice squad, worth a chance next year to atleast be a great special teams player.

He reminds me of a young Jarrett Johnson. I watched him all pre season. He's a battler, he took on anybody in front of him whistle to whistle... a winner IMO.

He needs to get stronger, which he can. He's the same size as McCrary.
