Its about time we got rid of this bum, so this should me Matt Wieters should be here soon! ESPN has just confirmed the trade is done. We baby our prospects too much. Yes, there are times when "throwing them into the fire" is the wrong move. But that doesn't mean that everyone has to be coddled. Coddling creates weak players. There is such a thing as holding a player back for too long. Bring Wieters up, let him find a groove with us. I do not think that is the problem, I think it has to do with the arbitration timeline. The Rays did something similar with Longoria. I am not sure of the exact details, but I think if you wait a month, it pushes back arbitration a year. With Boras as Wieter's agent, you want that date as far back as possible.
