Sad News on Todd Heap

Former Ravens tight end Todd Heap accidentally killed his three-year-old daughter Friday at his home in Mesa, Ariz. According to the Arizona Republic, police confirmed the tragic event, saying that the 37-year-old was moving his truck forward in his driveway and didn’t realize his daughter was in the path of the vehicle.

 

Police said she was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. According to authorities, Heap was not impaired, and an investigation into the incident is continuing.

This is so tragic. In my mind, this is the most unthinkable and most unimaginable pain that a father and family can experience. I can't begin to fathom the hurt and remorse they are feeling. This is a heart breaker and soul crusher and they will need all the love and support that they can get.

He's such a good, kind person and I'm sure his family is too.

Right on the nose. He was already a really good guy. And now this. Very very sad.
