Gee, really bad news!

I'm sure glad our new strengthening coach is on the job. :nono:

This one is not on him, once you dislocate and break a hip, unlike other joint injuries, they are forever weakened.

Why on earth the team resigned him, even at a reduced rate, cough cough, is just more proof Ponzy Schemer neeeds to retire or be fired...

Waller? He's a bum. They still have Watson, Boyle, Gilmore, & Maxx Wms. One of these guys will def. step up for sure, probably Watson.Yes, this hurts because we all love Dennis, but football is football. It's also time for Maxx to step it up. I really don't think the loss of Pitta is going to be a big loss at all, not with these other four. Tavon Young's injury is much more of a loss for this team.

I'm confused. What would the strength and conditioning coach have to do with this? He doesn't exercise their bones, just their muscles. Or were you just being humorous? This isn't a joke. Pitta was a top five player for us.

Please elaborate on your Ponzi scheme theory. I just don't know why your critical of the Ravens bringing back Dennis. He wanted to come back and the team wanted him back. He led all tight ends in the NFL last year. Why are the Ravens wrong in this?

I was thinking mainly about Camp's toe and Young's ACL. I believe the guy was brought in specifically to deal with the number of injuries the Ravens have incurred over the last few years. It wasn't meant as a joke.

As I said later, I hope Dennis is OK for regular life...things like walking and running with your kids.

So if pitta retires do we still get hit with a cap number?

No. I read somewhere that if Dennis does retire, the Ravens will recoup his cap number. I can't remember what that number is. Anyone enlighten Crave?

The dead money is $4.4 million so we don't gain a whole lot.

Anybody think we should go after Macklin? I don't know much about him.

No, he has never shown consistant hands and runs terrible routes. This team has enough of those lack of skill sets...

Maclin has potential. He has to come for a dirt cheap contract.

I agree. They need to sign him to a short term deal too so they can evaluate his ability before they sign a long term contract with him.
