Do you need any more evidence that Harbs needs to go?

Eh, plenty of places to point fingers. I can't think of any skill position on offense where the Ravens have a better than average player. Or even "unskilled" positions.

I wouldn't be upset if he goes, but nothing in the first three games make me think that the main problem on the team is HC.

At this point I would cut everyone on offence including the coaches. Maybe keep The LT and just start from scratch. Take the pain for a year. Draft only O players and just rebuild from the Line out. We haven't had a good O since 96 so we need a completely fresh start.

I don't have my laptop with me so don't know the salary cap implications but the whole thing needs blown up. Anyone related to this O must go.

Under 100 yards passing, with 2 qbs. A "top" defense getting shredded by one of the worst qbs in the league.

Can't win em all but you should have a shot at winning them all. Today, they had no chance.

Twice in 3 games Flacco threw less than 20 passes and completed 50 % or less. Clearly his back is an issue, maybe the long plane ride and little time to recover played a role in his lack of performance.

They can't get rid of Flacco, the cap ramifications are too dire.

But Marty clearly is not the answer at OC, something almost every fan knew yet Harbs did not, I guess.

Harbs can't find the right fit at OC and Flacco leads the league in coaching changes at that position, so they might as well get a head coach who can coach offense - ( Jim Bob Cooter) ....

I know, only 3 games in, there is "time" left in the season, and yes, they still could be a 10 win team, sure, anything is possible until it is not...

Quarterback: Joe Flacco completed just eight of 18 passes for 28 yards. He threw two interceptions and was either too high, low or late on almost every pass. His best effort of the game was his tackle after an interception. He finished with a QB rating of 12.0. That was too high. Grade: F...http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bs-sp-ravens-report-card-0925-story.html

Coaching: The Ravens weren’t prepared to play and this was one of the worst performances in team history. Jacksonville swallowed up the Ravens’ running game and the Jaguars took apart the Ravens’ defense. Jacksonville threw a lot of short passes in front of the Ravens as well as out in the flats. The Ravens were mentally and physically out of this game after the coin toss. They lost that, too. Grade: F

Piss poor game planning by the coaching staff. This team was not ready or prepared to play.

That said, they don't have much to work with and that sorry lot didn't show up for work.

Unprepared, you don't lose that badly unless the team is not ready. He has made horrible decisions since he got here, shown no improvement what so ever. Chosing to arrive in London so close to the game time, well, you see the Result....

Take Ozzy and his minions with you....

I could not agree more. When I saw they were not leaving until Thur I figured they would be unprepared. Their internal clocks were screwed. They should have left Sun night and used Mon to get acclimated. They would have gotten to see the stadium before they showed up to play. Harbs does not keep the team prepared.

While the 2000 team didn't have a great offense they played respectably other than Banks. With Jamal and a ball control passing game I would take that offense with a stellar D 100% of the time.

Harbs has never proven to hire good coaches. It has always been one of my main gripes.

You poor delicate snowflake. Are you ok? Safe space nearby?

He must be melting.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh doesn't plan on team playing over there any time soon

The Baltimore Ravens won't be volunteering to play in London again if coach John Harbaugh has any say about it.

"To be honest with you -- and maybe I'll get into trouble for saying this -- don't plan on going over there any time soon to play again," Harbaugh said Monday, a day after Baltimore's 44-7 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the franchise's first overseas game. "So, somebody else can have that job."

Harbaugh acknowledged that the Jaguars, who have won three straight years in London, have a better understanding than the Ravens in the logistics of playing there. He believes that there are some logistics that he would've wanted handled differently.

The Ravens stayed at a hotel that was 45 minutes outside of London and practiced for two days at a facility of a local rugby team.

"There were some certain things that came up that you look at it and you go, 'That wasn't ideal,'" Harbaugh said. "But we really had no way of knowing that. Some things we have no control over. We have no control where we stay, how far the bus ride is, how long it takes to get to the stadium. What impact it had are things we look at."

Common sense and actual research could be a good start.

There are numerous hotels right beside the stadium negating the need for a bus journey. I'm sure they could have arranged for practice time at Wembley and there are numerous sporting facilities within easy reach of Wembley if they couldn't fulfil the practice time required.

John needs to learn the 7 Ps. Proper Planning and Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance.

In this case, you can't blame lack of knowledge. The NFL has been coming to London for 10 years. Lift the phone and ask some teams what they have done in the past. It's hardly rocket science.

The Ravens clearly didn't want to be there. They were there out of an obligation to the NFL and now after that performance the NFL will not want the Ravens back in London anytime soon. They won't want to risk a repeat of that showing. It's the first time I have seen the stadium emptying with half the 4th quarter to go in any NFL London game. Just a total embarassment and the NFL won't want that to happen ever again.

The only good thing to come out of this for the NFL is the Jaguars continue to prove they can become the London Jaguars.

Maybe I should reach out to the Ravens. Sounds like they need a new travel agent! ;)

  • 4 weeks later...

Another flat performance by this team. Oh, the defense only gave up 1 td you might say? They were tired because of the offense didn't move the ball? Did you see the top before the Vikes' last drive? Even..

Linemen not hding their lane, blitzers running into the back of dlineman... Linebackers not reading their keys properly.

How many times will they be fooled by screen plays?

Don't get me started again on the offense & the play calling, play design.

How many freaking times will they call a screen that loses yards?

Yes, they all have to go; offense, defense, head coach, front office..
