The Ravens need to hit these priorities in the offseason, according to Mike Preston, and the most important need is finding playmakers on offense.

Preston thinks the Ravens can contend for a playoff spot....


The Ravens are like a lot of teams in the mediocre, watered-down NFL. But if they get some players healthy and make a strong move or two in the offseason, they could make the playoffs for the first time in four years.


What got him so juiced up?



Receiver: Except for the Cleveland Browns, the Ravens had possibly the worst group of receivers in the NFL. They didn’t have a possession or a go-to receiver. Fortunately, the Ravens might lose most of this group.

“My philosophy is winning comes first,” Roman said. “I’m not chasing stats. Job justification stats, water cooler talk – I’m not really into that. I’m into whatever helps the team to win. Along with that, though, a physical style. Meaning we’re in control. It starts up front, but it extends everywhere. It’s a mindset. [I’m] very big on approaching the game from that perspective.”
