The Ravens will have three women in their apprenticeship program this summer, two in coaching and one in analytics.

Coach John Harbaugh said on Tuesday he’s “fired up” about the trio coming to the team.

I give them a lot of credit going in this direction.

Glad to see it.

I bet there's a woman out there who can do a better job than Morningwig.

“My philosophy is winning comes first,” Roman said. “I’m not chasing stats. Job justification stats, water cooler talk – I’m not really into that. I’m into whatever helps the team to win. Along with that, though, a physical style. Meaning we’re in control. It starts up front, but it extends everywhere. It’s a mindset. [I’m] very big on approaching the game from that perspective.”

If you have to hire someone because of race or sex, creed or color, are you hiring honestly or giving into pressure, thus lying?

I am for women in football, in the coaching staffs, front office etc, not just in cheer leading, which I think should be done away.... I am glad they finnally got with the times. What I don't like is when a truly qualified candidate is overlooked for a less qualified person because of race or sex.

I am not saying this is the case in this instance, but I do have my doubts.

I have to ask if some male scouts and or coaches have been pushed forward bc of their gender.  I always remember the daughter in Remember the Titans.
