The Baltimore Ravens made a slew of roster cuts Friday.

The afternoon after the Ravens' preseason finale win over the Washington Redskins, the Ravens waived 10 players, put four on injured reserve, and kept three on the reserve/physically unable to perform list.

Not included in the latest cuts? Quarterback Robert Griffin III, the former Washington and Cleveland quarterback who did not sign with a team last season. The Ravens drafted quarterback Lamar Jackson late in the first round this year as the heir apparent to Joe Flacco.

All NFL rosters must be cut to 53 players by 4 p.m. Saturday. The Ravens are down to 72 players, so 19 more moves need to be made.

Waived: CB Robertson Daniel, G/T Andrew Donnal, G Justin Evans, TE Nick Keizer, DE Christian LaCouture, DB Kai Nacua, CB Jackson Porter, WR DeVier Posey, LS Trent Sieg

Waived (injured): ILB Alvin Jones

Injured Reserve: S DeShon Elliott, DB Bennett Jackson, CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste, T Greg Senat

Reserve/PUP: WR Quincy Adeboyejo, ILB Bam Bradley, CB Jaylen Hill

He is likely headed to the PS on Sunday if he clears waivers.

When an NFL season is over, there is a game or a stretch of them that usually defines it. The Ravens are about to enter one of those periods.

With Friday’s moves, the Ravens are down to 72 players, and that number will drop to 71 when cornerback Jimmy Smith moves to the suspended list. They have until 4 p.m. Saturday to trim the remaining 18 players. The Ravens outright waived nine players: cornerback Robertson Daniel, guard/tackle Andrew Donnal, guard Justin Evans, tight end Nick Keizer, defensive end Christian LaCouture, defensive back Kai Nacua, cornerback Jackson Porter, wide receiver DeVier Posey and long snapper Trent Sieg.

Of those, only Nacua, who returned an interception for a touchdown Thursday, was thought to have an outside chance to make the team.

The Ravens injury-waived inside linebacker Alvin Jones and placed Jean-Baptiste, tackle Greg Senat, safety DeShon Elliott and defensive back Bennett Jackson on season-ending injured reserve.

Wide receiver Quincy Adeboyejo, inside linebacker Bam Bradley and cornerback Jaylen Hill will start the season on the PUP list.....http://www.baltimore...0901-story.html

Nacua is a bi if surprise. I guess that opens up another position that's overloaded like QB or WR.

BTW Andrews did a hell of a job blocking last night.

Looks like they cleaned house of players who are projects or not reaching their potential.

Some of these players are still serviceable but you can't win championships with that.

I wonder if Goose 2.0 is done here forever.  That injury at the time I thought was a career ender.  Unfortunate if it is.

I figure another shot to pull it together.  Remidns me of Dex.
