Lamar has a pleasing and unusual mix of humility and confidence. I really hope he succeeds.

Roman knows, in order to stay ahead of the curve, he’ll have to reinvent his attack – at least to some degree. It’s always a cat and mouse game in the NFL. One team debuts something new and innovative (Jackson’s speed), opponents adjust, and then teams adjust to the adjustments.

That was great.

You have to admit it's scary going into the Lamar era. It's a big change....then again, my eyes and brain didn't hurt watching his run at QB.

I love his confidence. His team mates do too.....so he's for real.

We saw what Joe could do in 2012 when he had a good supporting cast to work with.

They need to surround Lamar with players that he can be productive with or he will wallow like Joe did.

"He's the future," safety Eric Weddle said. "As you guys can tell, he's devastated right now and that's what is going to drive him in the offseason. He'll come back 10 times better than he was this year. He's going to be a great one. I can't wait to see where his career ends up."
