Schmuck writes a good article about Lamar and where the Ravens stand as of now...

Of course, any plan to solidify the passing game depends largely on how much Jackson improves as a passer in his second pro season. While he made some plays with his arm as a rookie, he wasn’t as consistently accurate as anyone wanted. He acknowledged to reporters earlier this month that he knew his mechanics needed work.

Jackson said he has been working on those mechanics and other aspects of his passing since February.

I agree too.

Accuracy and turning the ball over. These are huge weakness that will kill any hopes of going anywhere up. This has to change, and until we see the change or improvement, then there's no reason to set our hopes and expectations high. Now...if we see an improvement in accuracy and a significant decline in turnovers during the preseason and into the first quarter of the season anything is possible.

I like all the positives that I saw last season. He brings a lot to the table, yet the weaknesses could deep 6 everything.

Nevertheless, you have to admit that it was exciting watching that run last year.

“[Lamar] was amazing last year, and then they add in Mark Ingram,” Burleson said. “We forget how strong and angry of a runner he is. … [The Ravens] are just getting started. I think people assume that Lamar Jackson isn’t going to pass the ball this year, and I will tell you right now you are wrong. He’s going to light up the skies and torch the ground like he did last year.”

“Put on 20 pounds of muscle over the offseason,” Hurst said. “I’m kind of on a mission this year. I’ve got a lot to prove.”

This season rides on his shoulders.  Teams will sell out to make him throw so he has to show he can.

Hate to hang the teams fate on one guy but you guys are right. We are going to live or die w/ Lamar. Time will tell.
