I loved his I won't make excuses comment. I really do like him as a coach. He gets the most of his players and gets the job done most of the time. Also when he got there he checked his ego at the door. You know he wanted to have his own guy at DC but LeBeau is a legend and their D has never been a concern.

Tomlin is the man, and he's going to have the Steelers in good shape for a while. Our only hope is that the cheapo Rooney's continue to underpay him and he leaves, but I don't see that happening (him leaving, not the cheapo Rooney's actually raising his salary to the level of other top coaches).

I don't knowwhat Tomlin is making but I would think he is up for a new deal. He should be pulling down at least $4mil a yr.
