Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo has agreed in principle to be the next St. Louis Rams coach, team sources have confirmed to ESPN.com's John Clayton. No official announcement is expected until Monday at the earliest. ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen had reported earlier in the day that the Rams had narrowed their picks to either Spagnuolo or Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett. The strong feeling from inside the organization is that Rex Ryan will be the next Jets coach.
