It's time to bump and bump
I think the Ravens should adopt the philosophy of New England coach Bill Belichick. It's apparent that officials allow a lot of contract in the post season games, and the Patriots cornerbacks mugged the Ravens and Giants receivers in their past two playoff games.
Belichick would rather take a penalty instead of giving up a big play, and New England almost pulled off another Super Bowl victory Sunday with one of the worst secondary's in the NFL.
If I were Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, I'd turn cornerbacks Jimmy Smith, Cary Williams and Lardarius Webb loose in the playoffs.

Yea...but they throw flags on the Ravens.

It was a different set of rules or interpretation in the playoffs because there was a ton of mugging and contact and no flags flying.
“Here’s a reality of this league,” John started, “you never pick up where you left off the season before. We’re never back to a minute left in the AFC championship game ready to take it to the Super Bowl. We’re not there until we earn our way back there again. Every team starts over, and the foundation for us starts right now. We build the whole thing from scratch."

I have no data for this but it just seems from what I've seen that the Pats get favorable treatment from the league on some issues.

It seems to be getting a little better. Daring to actually touch Brady is no longer an automatic roughing the passer flag. I thought the Pats D did get away with some fairly obvious fouls in the SB though, stuff that would be guaranteed PI or personal fouls against the Ravens.
