I'm curious what the line will be vs. Denver

17 September 2018 - 05:45 PM

Favorites or underdogs? Denver is 2-0, but both games were at home. They only have a difference of +4 in the standings, while the Ravens are +33. I know it was because of the Buffalo game. We'll know tomorrow, but I'm going to guess it's close; Ravens by 1 or 2.

This team has the most depth in last ten years

We have probably 5-10 players who are going to get cut and make other rosters. I fully stand by my original prediction of 11-5 and the play offs.

Next guy up. We are ready.

I really like this Swedish kicker/punter

If it weren't for Tucker or Kuch, this guy would have made this team. He's got some serious leg power and he's pretty accurate too. Plus, he does both, kicks and punts.

He will def..land somewhere this year.

This is still a game where the defense wins games.

All in all, the Ravens will have an exceptional defense, an exceptional special teams, and an adequate offense. What do I mean by adequate? Enough to get the job done and score when they need to score. This is a greatly improved team from several years back when I mentioned here that the Ravens don't have any depth. That problem has been fixed, we now have plenty of depth. Lamar was brought in here to light a fire under Joe's arse and I believe we all see a better Joe Flacco this year. Afterall, he now has somebody he can throw to. Our O-line will be adequate, our running game should be a big improvement and and the defense from front to back is solid. Overall, I see a pretty damned good football team out there. That's why I told Max that we are going back to the playoffs. And with this overall talent, we'll do as we always do- become dangerous in those playoffs. It might of taken several years to fix, but I think the Ravens have finally done it.

OK- the annual Tornado prediction of wins and losses. 2018 Ready?

I feel like the Ravens future is disintegrating before my very eyes

I can't watch much more of this. Lamar Jackson at # 32? Wasted pick if they are really interested in replacing Flacco. And then they keep trading backwards. WHY??? Maybe Ozzie and Co. believe that real talent comes from that 7th round. They must because it looks like we're going to get about 6 or 7 picks there. I'm completely baffled here.

I'm not saying that Jackson is not an NFL QB. He's at most a back up.
