  1. Good read, lot of fair points. With the exception of a couple games, I just do not think Lamar is playing that bad.

  2. John " BY All" Means just threw a 9 inning no hit shut out! 113 pitchers, great command, ton of 1st pitch strikes, ...really...a thing of beauty. 1st time for an Oriole in 52 years since Jim Palmer. By the 7th I was on the edge of my seat. Shit...it's rare for a pitcher to go 9 innings in today's baseball. O's beat the Mariners 6-0.

  6. Today is a very historic day as Biden has officially committed the US to move on a path of action towards global warming. It's a beginning. A huge change. So happy.

  7. I think it's hard to improve when you lose 2 of your best linemen and your not given the tools to succeed. No reason for teams to respect the passing game when no one can consistently get open or catch the ball besides a tight end. Look at the talent around some of the other young QBs like Allen, Murray, or Mahomes. Night and day. But that's just my opinion. I didn't "know" how his career would go when he was drafted so I watch objectively.

  8. No. Just no. He does not get to receive congrats and platitudes four years and two weeks, respectively after having his turtle head so far up Trump's butt. No. Screw him.

  9. Spen, you cut me to the quick. Maybe I was a bit premature with my pedigree remarks about Lamar. Maybe not. Here's the thing - Lamar has a very unconventional skill set and he's almost impossible for teams to game plan for. When he's doing his thing and yes, having fun, he's almost impossible to stop and a helluva lot of fun to watch. Sure, fun isn't the metric or requirement; its the effect or outcome. Bill Pollian, ESPN, & NFL Network, offered an interesting perspective on XM radio this morning. He said with Lamar's unbelievable skill set, you almost c

  19. Thanks for asking. We're still in Cleveland at the Cleveland Clinic. His progress since the op has been slow. Today they're going back in to clean up some stuff. We are hoping and praying this is the end of the bad news. Doing everything I can to distract myself since only one visitor (his Mom) is allowed. Glad the board is here.

  22. Agreed the TEAM lost. And at 23 with his makeshift OL, barely serviceable WRs and questionable play calling, Lamar can only do what can he do? Still, at some point - maybe not this year - he will need to will the TEAM to victory, win the big ones, and yes a playoff game. He will get many chances to win, starting Sunday against the Titans.

  23. Should have had two picks, missed a few open guys deep sown field when he chose to throw short. Those deep passes change games, win games. Was he the reason they lost? No, not by him self, that is not what I am saying. You want me to grade out the linmen? i will, the receivers? i will, start a thread on them or any position. But we are talking about Lamar and what he needs to do to improve.

  24. I've been screaming play action for weeks, but that is not the main problem as we saw last night once again. Clearly he can only make throws that are right in front of him, consistently. The Pats ran mostly man and while Lamar had good numbers, numbers lie sometimes. If he can't beat man defense, this team will never win consistently any longer. Last year will have been a fluke; teams not ready for him, now they are and big plays disappear. Big games are still an issue, clearly.

  27. I thought the O line would lose this game yet they really came though. Players went down, players switched positions and they battled hard. All fight in that group. They steam rolled the Steelers D for 265 yards. Can't ask for more. 4 turnovers by Lamar killed their chances yet they still could have won. Then... 9 penalties for 110 yards killed their chances and to the Steelers credit, they took advantage of this and made the plays. They remained patient and found the way to win. As for the discussions above about letting Lamar go in free agency: No fucking way. As a fan I

  34. Stock Down: Greg Roman The collapse of the offense was eerily similar to the playoff loss to Tennessee. Completely abandoning the run game can not happen. I point to a sequence on the very first drive. As we all saw, the Ravens offense quickly and efficiently marched downfield into the red zone. First and ten on the 15-yard line, and a touch pass to a sweeping Devin Duvernay gains seven yards and sets Roman and the offense up with second and short. You would think a team that set all sorts of records in rushing would continue to do what got them in scoring position in the first place,

  38. I couldn't write about his brutal and senseless murder when it first happened. His final words broke my heart, shocked me and tore me up. Racism, in any way that it is expressed, is so ugly, nasty and unclean. Hate is so brutally harmful in thought, word and deed. If anybody doesn't think that this is so, then watch the video and hear his final pleas. Try to imagine that George was your son. That was a physical manifestation. What about the "invisible scaring?" What about the daily mental, emotional and spiritual scars it leaves on black children and their families. On their hopes

In the meantime, I'm going to go drink my Lysol cocktail and swallow some lit light bulbs after that.
