4thMims did some otherworldly stuff in Indianapolis at the combine at nearly 6-foot-8 and 340 pounds. He's the type of oversized, overwhelming blocker the Ravens love. -

Quote30. Baltimore Ravens
Tyler Guyton, OT, OklahomaGiven the injuries and/or inconsistencies at the tackle spots in recent seasons, the Ravens should look to add a tackle here at the back end of the first round. Tyler Guyton is incredibly athletic for his size and is pro-ready as a pass-blocker.
62. Baltimore Ravens
Max Melton, CB, Rutgers
Quote30. Baltimore Ravens — Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
This offensive line class is so deep that a player like Suamataia, who is very talented but still raw, would usually climb up about 10 spots higher because of the usual lack of talent at the position. Instead, here is a player with real upside as a blindside blocker available for the Ravens. Suamataia will need development, but would give the Ravens a potential needle-mover in the long term, while also helping shore up a position of need.
This is a new one. I havent seen him before.

Quote30Oklahoma · OT · Junior (RS)Ravens GM Eric DeCosta needs to address the edges, with Morgan Moses traded away and Ronnie Stanley struggling to stay healthy. Guyton is an intriguing option as a potential Day 1 starter at right tackle, and he has enough athleticism to eventually move to the left side.
30. Baltimore Ravens – Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
The offseason defections were to be expected, but Baltimore was still left with a number of holes and limited resources for patching them. If the Ravens were able to secure the massive Mims (6-8, 340 pounds), it would have an answer at right tackle after the trade of Morgan Moses − and potentially a contingency plan at left tackle if Ronnie Stanley can't shake his injury woes.

4thThe Ravens may go receiver or corner here instead, but they have a need at tackle, and Latham is excellent value for them this late in the first. Plus, it's not like the Ravens don't have a long history of drafting Alabama players.Quote30Houston · OT · SeniorAfter trading Morgan Moses to the Jets -- and given Ronnie Stanley’s injury history -- Paul is an appropriate choice for Baltimore. The 6-foot-7 1/2, 331-pound blocker could compete with Daniel Faalele and/or Patrick Mekari for the right tackle job or step in if Stanley misses time again this season, as the veteran has not played 14 games or more in a season since 2019.

I don't want to see that either, but I can't make sense out of what role they envision for Jones.
A flier maybe.

Well, I sure hope we're not counting on him. Hopefully, this was just a one year 'prove it' signing for a reserve spot in case they have to move Mekari to a regular starting role.
No way let Mekari sit in one spot.

QuoteBaltimore Ravens: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
The Ravens could stand to bolster their guards. Lamar Jackson was the MVP when he had Marshal Yanda blocking for him.
Tyler Guyton is a massive tackle with great athelticism for someone his size.
Baltimore Ravens: Ja'Lynn Polk, WR, Washington
The Ravens could use another receiver with Odell Beckham Jr. being a short-term option.
Ja’Lynn Polk has a nice blend of size, speed, and route-running ability.
Baltimore Ravens: Ro Torrence, CB, Arizona State
The Ravens have some weaknesses in the secondary that must be addressed.
Ensign Ro Torrence is a big cornerback, but comes with some speed question marks.
Baltimore Ravens: Javion Cohen, G, Miami
The Ravens lost some offensive linemen in free agency that will need to be replaced.
Javion Cohen is a strong interior lineman with plenty of power.

6thThe Ravens have the running back, but who is blocking for Derrick Henry? I think they trust their draft picks, but may continue drafting and developing.Quote“Mr. 4.21” likely booked a ticket to the first round with his record-breaking 40-yard dash at the scouting combine. I could see the Ravens as a potential landing spot. Getting that constant deep threat on the field would open things up for Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews underneath.

Thats interesting. Did they lose a guard?
-
Its applicable to the contract.
-
He is still on the contract.
-
The option call needs to be made very soon.
-
I think 2025 they can ink Wilson to a dirt cheap deal again bc Den is on the hook that yr too.
If fields cant get reps how do you evaluate him? -
Exactly.
-
I dont see the plan.
-
What the hell are they doing? Will it be Wilson or Fields? Are they picking up teh 5th yr option? IF they got hum and he leaves after the yr I dont get it.

Quote30. Baltimore Ravens
Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia
Despite going receiver in the first round last year, the Ravens are still lacking in wideout talent. Zay Flowers stepped onto the scene as an immediate play-maker but the team let Odell Beckham go and Rashod Bateman’s career appears to be on the ropes. McConkey is gifted route-runner and proved he’s an elite athlete on top of that at the combine.

If Brown can't make it with Mahomes, he won't make it anywhere.
I expect Vrown to get 1100 yds baring injury.

This might well be it for Tomlin. I cant see them getting much from Russell.

30. Baltimore Ravens (Dave): OT Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma
The Ravens rarely worry about need, positional value or any of the other talking points — they just draft the best player available. Guyton fits the bill in this spot. Plenty of draft analysts think he needs time to develop, and he'll have that in Baltimore. Ronnie Stanley and Morgan Moses are still the Ravens' likely starters for 2024, but Guyton would be a valuable swing tackle with an eye on starting in short order. He's also a heck of an insurance policy should one of the veterans get hurt — which was a consistent issue in 2023.
QuotePICK 30: BALTIMORE RAVENS: WR TROY FRANKLIN, OREGON
Baltimore wasn’t particularly efficient throwing the deep ball last season. Troy Franklin posted a 99.1 deep receiving grade in 2023 and averaged 3.32 yards per route run, the sixth-best mark in the FBS. The Ravens need to continue to add weapons around Lamar Jackson, and Franklin’s frame and long speed are a good match.

QuoteBaltimore Ravens: Tallies Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
The Ravens could stand to bolster their guards. Lamar Jackson was the MVP when he had Marshal Yanda blocking for him.
Tallies Fuaga may have to move to guard in the NFL.
Baltimore Ravens: Ja'Lynn Polk, WR, Washington
The Ravens could use another receiver with Odell Beckham Jr. being a short-term option.
Ja’Lynn Polk has a nice blend of size, speed, and route-running ability.
Baltimore Ravens: Ro Torrence, CB, Arizona State
The Ravens have some weaknesses in the secondary that must be addressed.
Ensign Ro Torrence is a big cornerback, but comes with some speed question marks.
Baltimore Ravens: Javion Cohen, G, Miami
The Ravens have some talented interior offensive linemen hitting free agency this March.
Javion Cohen is a strong interior lineman with plenty of power.
