  1. We did it in Tampa no reason we won't do it in Nawlins

We ran it in TB because we had a 9000 point lead in the 2nd quarter from passing. Had that game played out like every other nail biter on the road we would have let forsett collect dust on the sideline. And even though nawlins isnt as good as usual they are far better than the bucs

  2. I just dont see it. The team is not built for the road. As soon as we get down 3 points we will abandoned the run and joe will pass 50+ times. As simple as it seems to say we should run the ball against them all game long its just not what we do. At home, we win this game but they have shown me nothing on the road make me drink the kool aid.

Combine that with the fact I just dont think its possible for brees and co to lose three straight home games, regardless of opponent.

  3. How was that Boller's fault? He didn't draft himself. He didn't make himself starter out of the game. That blame sits squarely at Billick and Ozzies feet.

Because he sucked. If he didn't suck we could have won multiple superbowls with that defense.

  4. Best Case scenario we come out of the bye week with 5 healthy Corners

    Jimmy Smith

    Ladarius Webb

    Asa Jackson

    Traimon Jacobs

    Dominuque Franks

Looking ahead at the schedule I see at least 5 wins, the toss ups being @Saints and @Dolphin. 10-6 won't win the division but may get a wild card. The funny thing about this season is that unlike years past we are beating the bad teams and losing to good teams. Pittsburgh lost to Bucs, and barely beat the browns and Jags but then goes out and drops a 50-burger on the colts. I dont know what to make of this NFL season

  5. Webb is playing OK. He is not like a couple of yrs ago but maybe his back is still not right. We might be seeing surgury in the off season for him.

Yeah thats what Im thinking, But god did he get burned by Wheeton on the long TD this week, (or bryant, one of those two)

Coming into the season with Webb Smith and jackson sounded so good.

  6. Why even activate Cody? Jerrnigan and Brandon Williams are 10x better.

    What happened to Asa Jackson?

I get cutting brown, he's terrible but do they have a replacement?

We have Webb who is clearly a shell of his former self

Franks shouldn't even be in the league

    jimmy smith is out

    Jacobs is in

    What happened to Asa Jackson?

Am I missing anyone? Do we have 3 corners right now?

  7. I would personally prefer Billick and Boller, because at least they were aware of and working on their faults. There is zero evidence of that from either the coach or the player over the past six years.

I cannot believe what I just read. Are you saying you prefer having an Ego Maniac coach and an inept incapable QB who are aware they are terrible and wanted to be good but still failed miserably? You would take that over having a coach/qb combo that don't admit the few faults they have and have had incredible success during their time together because they wont admit to us their shortcomings.

I think we are getting carried away here. This team has major shortcomings in the defensive backfield which were magnified by the Jimmy Smith injury and the Webb injury. The offensive game plan did Joe no favors this week. I was under the impression the best way to slow a pass rush was with runs and screen passes. Not a single screen was thrown, the run was abandoned. That plus the turnovers and shortfields is the recipe for what occurred on Sunday night.
