Spen
This is an interesting and disgusting story about Frank Robinson having trouble buying a house after his trade. He wrote about this stuff in his book and I was surprised though I shouldn't have been. I guess in my head it seems too recent. I know that while obviously wrong people can be a product of their times, but how did players allow situations where teammates couldn't dine with the team or stay with the team? http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/orioles/bs-sp-frank-robinson-housing-0124-20160122-story.html
thundercleetz
Thanks for sharing this, Spen. Bittersweet story. It made me angry reading how Frank was treated in some areas of the city, but I was happy to read how his neighborhood rallied behind him.
