GrubberRaven
Ever wondered what happened... https://www.baltimoreravens.com/audio/what-happened-to-that-guy-kyle-boller
tsylvester
Thanks Grub, he was a great guy with the fans, teammates, he just never could settle his brain down to just play.
GrubberRaven
Interesting Podcast...curious to hear what everyone thinks...
tsylvester
I'm not really a "pod person", so I can't say to that. But it was well done from an interview stand point. It's good to hear he is doing well. Ive heard many ex players say retiring was the best thing they ever did. Just as many, however, as the interviewer said, who miss playing, though most miss the team aspect, the closeness.

Shockingly he's doing it all on his own...He's drawing no pension from the NFL, he only put 8 years in.
oldno82
Boller was a good guy; he just couldn't settle down as Tsyl said. But glad he's doing alright now.
GrubberRaven
Did you guys listen? Billick spoke down on him, constructively and Boller felt he was thrown in the fire. It was nice to hear the honesty from both sides.
papasmurfbell
It was interesting. Billick is a tool. I am even more adamant that he has no business in the ring. He def made Boller worse.
GrubberRaven
His quote about 1st rd QBs having to start was mind boggling
papasmurfbell
BC he is a moron. Also Boller was not going to start. It was Redman. Billick thinks nobody has a memory. I remember what happened. So do others. But Eisenberg is a is not a propagandist so he will not push on that.
Spen
Boller seems like a good guy, he just wasn't a very good QB. I wish him well.
