  1. Quinn on his cheap-shot: It sounds like he is genuine. He was probably scared of getting hit, so he just went low without even thinking. I mean we all saw how fast he went down when Ray Lewis came in the blitz on his sack. Quinn is a little wuss. By the way, the guy's arm strength is absolutely horrible. Those long passes at the end made Ken Dorsey's arm look like Joe Flacco's.
  2. I don't know why but I have a feeling of an upset. I think we can run the ball on them and will make a concerted effort to do so. With Mathis and Freeney I don't think passing the ball is such a good idea. Let's pound the ball, especially since Bob Sanders is out.
  3. There is absolutely nothing to complain about here. Flacco only passed the ball 18 times where as we ran the ball a total of 36 times. Isn't this what everyone wanted?
  4. Time to see what Krueger, Barnes, and McClain are about. Krueger was playing a little undisciplined out there as he let up on containment a couple of times, but he will learn through experience. That is something Suggs does well, he simply does not let up on containment. Next man up! Hopefully Ngata will be good to go next week. By the way, JJ is a beast. Possibly our MVP on defense this year!

    Webb

Yeah, so much for Reed being done. He was out there throwing his body around making tackles. That was encouraging to see. Fabian also stepped his game up last night in the run game.
  6. Anyone hear what happened to Suggs?
  7. I guess that is why Krueger is not playing, undisciplined play on containment. I hope Suggs is OK, that was a bitch hit by Quinn, I hope he gets fined.
  8. Question, if we win 3-0 are we happy with a shutout when our defense has been struggling? Or are we disappointed in our lacklusting offense?
  9. We do not have a single receiver under contract through next season pending the CBA. If no agreement is reached, Clayton comes back for another year. Everyone else is still a free agent.
  10. I do not care what anyone says, we have a serious problem at receiver. When the defense rushes six guys and your receivers cannot beat man coverage, you have a problem.
  11. Travis Taylor drops another pass...
  12. Good job filling on that play Gooden...
  13. Receivers have to get open... You cannot expect to get far if your receivers cannot get open with man-to-man coverage.
  14. Does not look good for Nakamura... OK, I am ready for a blowout of the Browns!!!!
  15. Why can't we give credit to the teams that beat us, especially Cincy. After Sunday's game, it is clear Cincy is an elite team. They did the same thing to the Steelers that they did to us. That does not make us a mediocre team. We are probably somewhere right above average. With that said Cleveland is a cellar team. There is no Cincy hangover, they simply whipped our ass. We gave our best effort, Cincy just had all the answers, like they did against the Steelers. Our best effort against Cleveland should result in a one-sided ass beating. As for the aging vets, what aging vets are you talking about? By my account Ray, Mason, and Birk are the only aging vets on this team that get extensive playing time. Edwards plays most of the time for Pryce. The problem lies with inferior talent at skill positions, mainly receiver and cornerback. It is not the vets that are hurting us. It is the "youth" like Washington, Clayton, Carr, Foxworth, Landry, and Gooden that are not stepping up.
  16. LOL
  17. I hope you are right, but after the Colts and Steelers it is really no question that the Packers are the next best team we face. None of the other teams should be that difficult for us. I could really go for a Steelers sweep this season!
  18. I guess we can add the Packers to the Steelers and Colts as difficult teams we have to beat. The Packers looked very good today in all aspects of their game. Aaron Rodgers is having a great year.
  19. It is great whenever the Steelers lose, it is even better when they lose at home.
  20. Congrats BengalBilly and Jungletiger, I did not think you guys would beat Pittsburgh at all, I will gladly eat my words. Your defense is legit. You shut us down, you shut Pittsburgh down. For us Ravens fans, our playoff hopes come down to our two games with Pittsburgh. We are still very much alive, the Bengals swept both us and the Steelers. Its fair game from here on out.
  21. Maryland!!!!
  22. How is this game not nationally televised? CBS down here in New Orleans is broadcasting infomercials and the second game they are broadcasting the Chiefs/Raiders game!!! Who is going to watch that!?
  23. Maybe the first time we let them off, but the second time they simply whipped our ass. At this point in the season, yes, they are better than us.
  24. I have to leave myself some insurance against Joshua Cribbs.
