  1. The McClain-TRAIN BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Definitely a one-sided fight, but it was interesting to watch because it was one-sided in the different way than most critics thought it was going to be. It is really a joy to watch Pacquiao, he is a great fighter. I really want to see a Pacquiao/Mayweather fight!
  3. Very nice! How did you like London? I studied abroad in Cambridge a couple of summers ago and got the visit London. The UK as a whole was a bit too rainy and cold for my tastes, but London was definitely cool to visit!
  4. LETS GO!!!! Where is my Go Ravens emoticon?
  5. I guess this conversation does not really apply to me because I live in New Orleans, and New Orleans pretty much doesn't follow the rules as the rest of the country does. Anyways, I rarely drink myself. But I think the drinking age should be lowered back to 18. I agree with what dc said:
  6. The De La Hoya-Pacquiao fight is going to be pretty exciting tonight. Anyone else watching it? If you are going to say that "boxing is dead" or anything along those lines, do not even post because a true boxing fan knows that is clearly not the case.
  7. The Skins secondary is good, but they are overagressive and let up the big play. I think Flacco is going to be able to make some big plays on a creeping secondary trying to stop the run. Throw in the fact that the Skins sttruggle to get a pass rush, and I see another multiple TD game for Flacco. Ravens in a *** I'm stupid for thinking this game is easy ***.
  8. Hopefully that does not end up screwing us. But it probably will. <_<
  9. Good point about Hartwell and Sharper. I also agree with you that Scott is probably the man out this offseason. However, Scott has been a great Raven and is extremely loyal. He is a great teammate, and unlike the other backers you mentioned, Scott adds to the intensity of our defense instead or merely feeding off of it. Scott himself has turned into a good leader, and I believe others play better with him around. As for Scott being mediocre this season, I think he has played as big a part as anyone in the reason why our run defense and total is ranked #2 in the league. The sack numbers might not be there, but like others pointed out in this thread, he is not a pass rusher. He is a hard blitzer, which sacks at that point are a product of the scheme. More than anything though, Scott has been rocksolid against the run.
  10. Especially the Terps! So why is Willis given a free pass? Because he is still a very good runningback even with a bum knee. We know that if we give him the ball, he will run hard and find the whole. Sure, we got mad that Jamal would get gassed easily, but what would get us even more mad about Jamal is that he would dance and not hit the hole. Willis always seems to find a hole, even if the yardage is not there. Yes, Willis gets gassed as well, but with two other good backs, it not as big of a deal.
  11. Barnes and McClain are OLBs. Could they play Scott's ILB spot? Possibly, but they would be extremely raw. Their natural talents are cleary rushing the corner. Scott may be the weaklink of our LB core (JJ has been great this season), but that is hardly anything to hang your head over. Scott would be the best linebacker on many teams in this league. I like Scott's trashtalking, it is all in good fun. The thing about Scott is that he brings it 110% every week, of course he is going to get passionate about it.
  12. I completely agree max. This team would always be a mystery because we have never had stability at the QB position. In my opinion, now that we have Flaccowe should be a contender for year to come. Same with Atlanta. It is amazing how things fall in place when you have a legitimate franchise QB. Unless you are the Bengals of course.
  13. LOL, I like how the Sun has now made it so that you have enter text to vote in their polls. I guess they didn't want somoene to rig the polls again.
  14. I am not ready to bestow Clayton as the real deal yet. He dropped some makable touchdown catches earlier in the year. He has made some impressive progress though.
  15. I do not think we will have a problem with the Skins. We will not dominate them like we have dominated the past two weeks, but we should win this game handedly.
  16. I agree with max. If Willis was being benched, I am sure you would see an article from Preston that a "source" told him that Willis is unhappy.
  17. I am not as worried about the sacks. The sacks came from the Bengals throwing the house at us. However, I would say the Bengals paid the price for blitzing and creeping up for the most part.
  18. Shouldn't we be rooting for the Jets to lose as well? Might as well throw a wrench in the wild card tiebreaker.
