I have always like Givens as a talent. Great rookie year but not much since. Granted the Rams have had major QB woes, but I am skeptical how fast Givens can learn the playbook to realistically contribute. Granted, he is probably better out there not knowing the plays than the current group we have who do know the plays.
-
I love Camp's acceleration and running ability. He gets upfield FAST. I feel bad he keeps getting hurt. The guy is a huge asset if he can stay on the field, and can cause major mismatches.
-
Brown also dropped a TD on a ball he usually catches. I'm assuming it was the left handed spin that caused the drop.

We are really bad.

Wow lots of empty seats! Kind of like our home opener on Sunday.

FWIW @jeffzrebiecsun: John Harbaugh says pregame that Perriman had his knee scoped this morning. Harbaugh says that they found no new damage. @jeffzrebiecsun: Harbaugh said that it's just healing very slow. Called it a matter of time before Perriman returns. @jeffzrebiecsun: Harbaugh in WBAL interview: "Were a little surprised to say the least, that its healing this slowly but thats what its doing" @jeffzrebiecsun: More Harbaugh: "The injection with the stem cells, that should help a little bit too, but its going to be a little bit of time." @ProFootballDoc: Stem cells imply the need for healing. Not likely to be ready in 2 weeks like from some quick scopes. #Perriman https://t.co/4wczfHuiKn One Twitter user had an interesting POV @Thegoldman410: @jeffzrebiecsun Jeff settle down. I'm telling you from a medical perspective that his disease has chronic inflammation in the knee. Relax

I doubt Harbaugh tells us anything, but if the Ravens put Perriman on IR we'll know for sure. I remember when Jonathan Schoop sprained his PCL this season the O's were adamant on not rushing for fear of the ligament tearing and losing him for a longer period of time due to surgery. Schoop was out from mid-April to mid-July with his sprain and no surgery.
-
@ProFootballDoc: PCL tear usually not surgical. If PCL needs reconstruction, recovery is like that of ACL. #BreshadPerriman @Ravens Hope only simple scope.

Edsall is going nowhere. Dwayne Haskins is a program changing recruit who has the influence to bring in other top recruits. Haskins is the reason why Edsall got the extension. Until Haskins signs on signing day the program is going to be on edge. Now if Haskins flips, the Edsall extension will have backfired. UMD has the potential to be a national program in the Big Ten East. Location, academics, conference, TV network, and now the new indoor practice facility. Kevin Plank wants to be to UMD what Phil Knight is to Oregon. Remember, Plank originally wanted Mike Leach. I was talking to a Terp fan and he mentioned if Chip Kelly ever separates from the Eagles, he could be a guy Plank pushes the Terps to get.

Another possible draft pick-Kendall Fuller
thundercleetz replied to tsylvester's topic in Maryland Terrapins / NCAA
Knee surgery out for the year. On a side note, Mr. Fuller has some serious juice cooking there: four sons in the NFL. -
Happy to see Tyrod doing well. I know he was an extremely hard worker and was well liked by his teammates. We never heard a peep from him as our backup QB and I'm sure he gave us great looks in practice. The guy made our team as a sixth round pick four years straight. How many sixth round picks could say that? Much less as a second string QB. We could have easily signed a vet backup and cut Tyrod but didn't. IMO that says a lot about how highly our coaches thought of Tyrod.

I'm not placing any blame on Trestman, except maybe not getting the ball enough to Camp in mismatches or Forsett out of the backfield. Regardless, Trestman is working with sub-par receivers and a LT who's the WORST rated this season by PFF and it's not even close. Can't run the ball when the defense knows you're running to the right every time. Also, it's hard to establish a run when your defense is letting other teams quickly strike through the air. Trestman has still been able to put up big offensive numbers the past two weeks. It has been on Flacco and the receivers for not executing in the red zone, leaving points on the board with poor passes and dropped catches. We have seen Cam Cameron put up a lot less offense with better weapons. I love Joe Flacco, but if he has one deficiency, it's he's a bad red zone QB. He can move the ball between the twenties, but once he's in the red zone for whatever reason he cannot connect. We have had a very bad red zone offense since Harbaugh has been here. By my count we have about five plays in the red zone that should have been TDs. Good play calls but poor execution. The Smith drop against Denver, the poor pass to a wide open Smith against Oakland, a couple of under thrown fade balls to Waller and Gilmore.

Jimmy Smith got 4-years, $48M with $21M guaranteed. Darrelle Revis got 5-years, $70M with $39M guaranteed. AJ Green got 4-years, $60M with $32.75M guaranteed. I wouldn't say Jimmy Smith is overpaid. The market is set for a corner that can cover a guy like Green (Revis), and Jimmy is a level below that. Byron Maxwell got 6-years, $65M with $25M guaranteed and he's been abused this season by Julio Jones and Brandon Marshall.

Home team gets a three point push, so the line really favors the Bengals slightly.
-
It is looking like we could start 0-4, Treadwell might not be such a pipe dream when it's said and done...
-
Not feeling confident. Huge missed TD there. Great play call.
-
Weak hands there. Would have been a tough catch no doubt as the defender got a hand in there, but those are the types of catches Marlon needs to make as a possession receiver.
-
What a choke job by KC.

Maybe the biggest effect from the Suggs injury: @sportguyRSR: Harbaugh acknowledged Elvis Dumervil will be on the field on first and second downs. #Ravens @FilmstudyRavens: This is really bad news. I hope he means "just for Oakland game". https://t.co/f6tsOIScm3 @FilmstudyRavens: Dumervil has been rejuvenated by reduced snaps and freshness for pass rush. #Ravens pass rush will be even worse. https://t.co/B5QMpJxuAl

@sportguyRSR: Along with previous stats, finished 2014 with an overall @PFF grade of +13.5 including +8.2 in run defense and +6.7 in pass rush. #Ravens @FilmstudyRavens: Just finished analysis of new #ravens signee Jason Babin 2014 (4 games) to pe posted soon. I like the move a lot. @RussellStReport @FilmstudyRavens: Babin gives the #Ravens a 2-way player they need to combat the no huddle. All other OLBs are specialists @BMoreBeatdown @BmoreSportsLife

I hate that question "would so and so have caught that ball." With the way Denvers DBs were playing, maybe Perriman doesn't even get off the line. It is similar to Ravens fans stating "Derrick Mason would have caught the ball Lee Evans dropped." Regardless, I HATE losing on a dropped pass. Lee Evans in the AFC Championship against the Pats, TJ Houshmandzadeh and Anquan Bolding in the AFC Divisional round against the Steelers. I would rather get blown out than lose on such a play.

As good as Davis was, hopefully Jernigan will be back soon. We will need the interior pass rush.

Make no doubt about it this is a big loss: @jeffzrebiecsun: He's also a smarter player than given credit for. Upshaw said today that Suggs was calling out some of Denver's plays ahead of time. @PFF: Top 5 Edge Defenders by PFF Run Defense Rating: 1. K. Mack 93 2. V. Miller 91 3. M. Bennett 90 4. J. Hughes 86 5. T. Suggs 86 @PFF: Terrell Suggs had the best run defense grade of any 3-4 OLB each of the past two seasons. http://t.co/t6dFvwQH5E https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/09/14/impact-of-terrell-suggs-injury-on-ravens-defense/?utm_source=fantasyleaguegm.com http://russellstreetreport.com/2015/09/15/filmstudy/ravens-expected-win-total-week-1-terrell-suggs/

https://vine.co/v/eF2gHQjXM56 Hard to tell if it was tipped or not. Kind of similar to Antonio Brown's TD catch this week:
