  1. Flacco's getting sloppy out there. It looks like he's expecting the rush, so he's not stepping into the throws even though he does have some room.
  2. We need more of that right there. That's Boldin's bread-and-butter.
  3. I thought for sure that ball was about to pop out.
  4. About time!!!!!!
  5. I could really use a fumble here.
  6. That is why you got Boldin to be your #1 receiver, to win one-on-one matchups.
  7. There sounds like there is a good amount of Ravens fans in attendance. That was a pretty loud Heap chant and I heard a pretty loud "O" during the National Anthem.
  8. Haha
  9. These kickers are pounding the ball indoors.
  10. No kidding. I saw those corners move up right before the snap to give a cover 2 look and I knew nothing good was going to come of it.
  11. Ugh it's just one of those games.
  12. Millen does have a point though, Matt Ryan really does have a beautiful throwing motion. His mechanics are perfect nearly every pass. But then again, any quarterback would look nice throwing with that much room to throw.
  13. Our pass rush is pretty pathetic.
  14. We've gotten the ball once this quarter.
  15. You have to be kidding me! Special teams play this season has been HORRIBLE!!! Too many fumbles, too many blocks in the back.
  16. The Falcons defensive line is kicking our offensive line's ass.
  17. There's that blinding speed we have been hearing about.
  18. That was a very quick first quarter.
  19. I'm not sure if I agree with your assessment on Webb. He is very physical at the line of scrimmage. Don't short White, he is a top five receiver in this league and a tough task for even the best corners in the league. Fabian good at short zone coverages? Fabian slips all the time on those curl and hook routes. Remember what Santonio Holmes would do to Fabian?
  20. I don't see a problem with these outside curl routes, we have Ed shadowing over the top if Roddy wants to go deep. If they keep running that curl route Webb is going to jump one of those for a pick-six. I'm not worried.
  21. Wow a first, second and fourth rounder and a next year third rounder? I mean Matt Ryan was a great QB prospect, but that kind of trade sets back your team two years. That definitely does not sound like Ozzie's style. The real question is, what the heck was St. Louis thinking not making this trade? Like Peter King said things worked out best for both the Falcons and us, while the Rams end up with a relatively average player in Chris Long and the Chiefs end up with a disappointment in Glenn Dorsey.
  22. Lucky for the Jets Stafford got injured again. He is turning into a really good quarterback. The Lions are a very promising team.
  23. What is wrong with this power running game? We cannot convert a short yardage situation if our life depended on it. We have a 265-pound fullback and a 240-pound running back, what's going on here?
  24. Bulletin board stuff and "do-or-die" mentalities are overrated IMO. We are coming off of a bye, have had two weeks to scout the Phins, and are playing at home. Like the Pats and Bills we played the past two games, we will have solid gameplan ready for the Dolphins. We are in a league of professionals where you have people making fulltime salaries to scout and pickup tendencies and weeknesses of the other team. These guys are smart professionals, you give them two weeks and they'll pick up a lot more stuff then one could pick up in only a week. It doesn't matter if you are the Bills or the Pats, in the NFL these things make a difference. We'll be ready.
  25. Ok here is my rational for this. Barring a rule change we won't see another defense like the Ravens. There are just too many rules to protect the offensive player and encourage the passing game. Man, if Jerry Rice in his prime played in today's game I am convinced he would catch 30 TDs in a season. Then there is the salary cap aspect of it all, if a new CBA is reached you better believe player salaries are going to be more under control. That means it is going to be a lot more difficult to assemble a team of talented studs like we did in 2000-2001. What we need in 2000 and 2001 was make an all-or-nothing approach, we knew we were going to blow the whole thing up in a year. With the way teams place an emphasis on building through the draft, I doubt there are going to be many teams that will take the chances of assembling a veteran-talented team like the Ravens did in 2000-2001.
