Dam...you beat me by a minute. The guy is also a locker room problem. I lost all respect for him when he started calling out the org for not backing him on pot, and the nfl for taking money from beer...you don't bite the hand that feeds you.

He says he's doing it for his future health, but my guess was nobody was breaking the door down to sign him. The Fan always said his heart for the game was questioned, I guess this answered it.

So teams would trade good picks for guys like KO,Art Jones,McFee who the Ravens wont be able to sign? Those teams would only be renting those players for one year then they'll hit FA. As a GM you would trade a #3 for a player that may or may not be on your team next year?

Guys who don't have a future here...you mean bad players/old players? Like when the Ravens tried to trade Monroe and had nobody interested? You think we'll get top tier picks for Elam or Kendrick Lewis? You think teams will trade for Suggs coming off two major injuries? The Ravens got stuck with 20 late rounds picks last year because teams don't want to trade down, this isn't Madden logic.

So you trade some of our current picks to have ammo for a qb 2-3 years down the line that you have no real idea will be a NFL star.... Do you really think the Colts would've traded their Luck pick? The skins had to sell the farm to get RGknee. You want the Ravens to give up multiple 1st and 2nds on a maybe? Flacco would have had better numbers if Oz hadn't wiffed on so many people these last 3 seasons.

What direction would that have been? Draft a QB every 4 years and if your lucky to find a good one then let them hit free agency because god forbid they want to be paid?

Joe did well in Kubs WCO. That left side scares me with Joe doing 6 step drops. I'm guessing with our large TE corps they do some quick curl/out routes to get the ball out fast. Go deep with Wallace on a few plays to keep the safeties out of the box.

I'm a pessimist, I seem him being a 1st round version of Campanaro. The guy might see the field of few games this season, but honestly he'll never get the chance to get polished thru practice. He'll be treated with kid gloves in practice with no contact and minimal cutting which will only soften him. The knock on the guy out of college was his hands, and how do you learn to catch at an NFL level without a little contact.

Now I just read a Sun article that confirms what you said...so IDK The team essentially self-reported the violation when tight end Benjamin Watson, the Ravens’ union representative, called the players association to check on whether rookies were allowed to wear pads during the minicamp. By the time Watson got back to the team and informed Harbaugh that it was a CBA violation, the Ravens had already started practice with a punt protection drill and one-on-one offensive and defensive linemen drills.

I heard it was Ben Watson our new TE....he's the players rep. Harbs isn't stupid, he knew what he was doing. He'd have gotten away with it since it was a rookie minicamp (what rookie would stand up to a HC) but Watson saw what was going on from the weight room.

IMO Ravens never really seem to draft "hands guys" at WR. Other than Stokely, Clayton, Mallete, and Camp thats the only guys coming out of the draft who were solid catchers. At TE we had some good ones in Heap and Pitta. Joe does well with chain movers so why does Ozzie not invest in getting them?

Yeah its not really the late rounders that hurt its just the 1-4 rounders are the ones you expect to at least make a NFL roster. Torrey was the best one and he'd be a #2 on most rosters. I'd rather they'd bundle those 4th round picks and either trade with a team for a proven WR (like Boldin) or move into the 3rd for better talent. Its interesting in this teams 20+ year history they only have a handful of WRs picked in rounds 1-3, so your talking maybe 6 picks out of 60

Deonte Thompson was a beast in Madden. All that matters in Madden is speed and he had plenty of it.

Well we passed on Jimmy Graham for Ed Dickson, Riley Cooper for David Reed, and took Ramon Harewood and the very next pick was Antonio Brown.
