  1. Same reason Kubiak did. If you cant land a HC this season then spend a year as a coordinator.
  2. Ain't wasting no time.
  3. My pick would be Shanahan since he has years in the WC system. My second pick would be Gase. Even if your coach is one and done and off to a new team. You got to pick the best candidate.
  4. I was thinking Zorn sense Joe liked him so much.
  5. Gase was on many teams short list this year. Do we bring in another one year guy?
  6. My guess is it'll be an unknown. Mike Shanahan is the only big name I can think of. Kubiaks former boss. Yes Washington was a disaster but how much of that was Danny Boy?
  7. He spent years in Denver and has a relationship with Elway. You also have the financial aspect that HC make more. If someone offered to double or triple your salary you'd take it?
  8. You want Kubiak..get the guy who taught him....
  9. We kind of knew Kubs was a 1-2 year rental. It's sucks but the show goes on.
  10. Wouldn't we rather have Mike over Kyle?
  11. Did he mean Elway?
  12. Same thing I said after the play. Torrey is soft and won't fight for the ball.
  13. West Coast Offense would be Shanahan. I'm not thrilled about it but what else is out there.
  14. I think the fact that they even needed a meeting isn't good
  15. Do you think part of the problem is the DB'S playing 10 yards off the ball? I've seen tons of plays where the WR will catch/turn/juke before the DB is even in position to tackle.
  16. I thought the L was going to be ladies =)
  17. I dont think its a money thing. He's got history over there.
  18. Looks like a WR/TE hybrid. All draft picks look good on highlight reels. I hope we go offense in the first 2 rounds. Corners take time to develop. Lets get a CB/DB on free angency and get Joe some more weapons.
  19. For whats its worth Kiper has released his first Mock Draft Devin Funchess Devin FunchessBaltimore Ravens (10-6)COLLEGE: MichiganClass: JrHT: 6-4WT: 235POS: WR Analysis: It's not really fair to call Funchess a tight end based on where he typically lines up, but at more than 6-foot-4 and at about 235 pounds with the ability to simply overpower most cornerbacks, he's not exactly a flanker, either. What I'd call him is a perpetual matchup problem, a guy you can move around, with the quickness to run crisp routes and easily create space if linebackers try to cover him and enough size to make cornerbacks have to go through him for the ball. Joe Flacco can use a weapon like Funchess, as could Gary Kubiak, assuming he passes on any other overtures.
  20. The instant highs and lows of being a Baltimore sports fan. Waiting for The Duke to drop the second boot
  21. I think Elways past his window. Peyton turns horrible in the cold of January and this offseason they got three FA problems. Peytons not going to get any better and his weapons are leaving.

    LOL Ray

I think his analyst career may be coming to an end.
  23. As much as I hated the "Peesvent" defense I will defend him and say you could have only done so much with what the secondary was this season. Run D and Redzone D was stout. Hurting him too was the of the only (Webb wasn't) healthy draft pick we had in the secondary is turning into a huge bust (Elam).
