  1. Curtis Painter should of beat this man out of a job.
  2. How about a nickel?
  3. The Jets are a joke. They did the same thing to Tebow. Sanchez was cut after FA started and teams have filled some holes.
  4. He's the Todd Heap of Centers
  5. Well the ravens signed ANOTHER SS. How many do we have now? http://www.nfl.com/player/darianstewart/494307/profile
  6. They'll ban a player for half a year for taking a prescribed drug.
  7. I use to defend Tomlin from the racist on the ESPN board, blaming him instead of the GM for the teams last couple of lackluster seasons. That all changed for me, I don't believe for one minute that was unintentional.
  8. From an outsiders perspective: When Bettis retired and you guys got Wendyhall the Steelers seemed to switch to a pass first offense. They seemed to lose that physical ground and pound style with Ben passing 40 times a game.
  9. I'm sure Goodell would be happy. I couple more $$$ in his retirement account
  10. Its not a beauty pageant. Just win baby!
  11. In that case the Steelers should get a leg up by signing Ed Dickson and Terrance Cody!
  12. Yeah I agree, but there's not a whole lot out there for Oz to get. Maybe Clemons but who knows. I don't want a rookie draftee out there. This could be a Huff situation where we get an older guy... gets blown up and they're left looking for a plan B. Oz has a lot of wholes to fill this offseason maybe FS might be one thats left open till camp/preseason.
  13. I agree... neither seemed to look in that direction. The play looked like it was going to right and no one picked up the backside blitzer.
  14. I don't know how blocking works but Rice had a shot at either guy wouldn't the blindside blitzer be more important? Flacco might have gotten hit either way but getting Timmons straight on would have allowed him to tuck in the ball/throw it away/ step up ..etc Second problem was Joe.... Its debatable whether he could audible or not. You don't have to be Peyton Manning to see a blitz coming. Boldin/Dickson were running an out routes, change one of them to an inside slant just encase.
  15. Dickson - 25rec 273yrds 1td Pitta - 20rec 169yrds 1td and Pitta spotted him 12 games
  16. I heard one of the janitors at The Castle retired.... promote from within
  17. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/aAlvq2wsZ4g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://youtu.be/aAlvq2wsZ4g Who did Oher think was going to block him? Still a great play by furball
  18. He's my pick.... with the WR/TE talent gone early we'll have to go with 2nd tier guys Per Kiper 19Zack Martin AGE: 23DOB: 11/20/90HT: 6-4WT: 308POS: OT GP 13GS 13A good Senior Bowl and a solid combine have Martin in a good spot. He's got easy feet and engages defenders, both mirroring and moving them with good hands. Versatility is a plus for Martin, as he can handle left tackle or right tackle and could handle guard in a pinch. Martin is a great competitor who absorbs power well for a tackle with shorter arms, but he also handles speed pretty effectively because of his quick feet. The arms could make him a likelier bet to move off the left side, but experience and versatility will keep him in Round 1.
  19. Cle has more cap space too so if they wanted to they could match any offer. His price is just a little too sweet for my taste. They might need to pickup a serviceable vet till Wagner or someone better comes available. We need more depth in general along the line. Gino might not have been as bad if Sh!tley didn't beat out Jah Reid for KO's spot.
  20. I think they'll draft someone. IMO Evans and Ebron will be gone by the time Oz's picks. There's a couple midround tackles at our spot.
  21. Not April 1st yet
  22. If I were the cop that pulled him over I'd been looking for some owners box tickets
  23. Pasadena is an easy 6-8 inches
