  1. Like va said .... He's contractually obligated to show up.
  2. From ESPN:"Suh restructured his contract for this season, changing his payment for 2013 into an $11.5 million signing bonus and a $630,000 salary. His salary puts his weekly checks at $39,375 for the Lions' 16 games, meaning he essentially lost money playing Sunday because of the $100,000 fine." So he's guaranteed 11 1/2 mil...at some point. Which with a 100k fine would be .01%..... Doing the math that would mean a guy making 50k a year would pay $500.00?
  3. He should have been suspended after the Thanksgiving game. The NFL with all its new injury protection rules should have set an example. Whats 100k to a multimillionaire?
  4. This guy is a real piece of work and should have at least got a suspension.
  5. Weeden put up good numbers last year against us @ the bank. Without Williams pick 6 we could have lost that game. MIA was all over Weeden last week. If we have a consistent pass rush we should win Sunday. Any news if Oher is playing?
  6. Suggs was on Clady... one of the best OT's in the game.
  7. Ellerbe had 8 tackles ...I think
  8. Kruger had a sack
  9. They were still in the game!
  10. Sellout crowd in Pit?
  11. No games a gimme but Weeden got hit 16 times!
  12. I agree... I'd rather see a young/hungry Furstenburg over Clarke/Dickson/Heap.
  13. Whats stupid about the comment? He's been injured every year. Does any player intentionally injure themselves...no.
  14. http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/540/report-tandon-doss-rejoining-ravens he Baltimore Ravens needed to add a wide receiver with Jacoby Jones expected to be out at least a month with a knee injury. Is it going to be Brandon Lloyd? Austin Collie? What about Josh Cribbs? No, it looks like Tandon Doss is coming back to the Ravens, according to The Baltimore Sun. Please tone down your excitement. Doss, the team's disappointing fourth-round pick, has seven catches in 20 career regular-season games. He didn't do much in the first three preseason games before making five catches for 75 yards. The Ravens are obviously looking for someone who has knowledge of the offense and provides depth. They weren't looking for someone to leapfrog either Marlon Brown or Brandon Stokley as one of the team's top three receivers. Baltimore is carrying six wide receivers, but only four are healthy. Deonte Thompson has been sidelined with a foot injury since the preseason opener. Let's see how many opportunities Doss gets in his second chance with the Ravens. -------- This guy's trash... couldn't beat out an UDFA and a 7th round pick.
  15. Rather see a washed up Heap.. than a healthy/normal Ed Dickson.
  16. So is every TE we have on our roster
  17. That Heap's in town?
  18. Yeah the AFCN looked bad as a whole. Like you said.. at least we lost on a road game to a team considered the cream of the crop. NE looked bad too.. almost losing to the Bills.
  19. Why haven't they gave Bajema a push? They say he's a "blocking" TE, but he's caught just about everything I've seen.
  20. The Steelers are the best at finding WRs ... so this is The Oafs fault.
  21. The best buds might be fighting again
  22. Remember us argueing with the trolls on ESPN about how Pouncey is injury prone..
  23. I was going to start a topic about Boldin. Is it Joe? Our offense? Their offence?
  24. Harbs is miles better than Billick. Its one game ..
  25. This is one of the few misteps Oz has had recently. I honestly thought they'd draft a TE with Pitta and Dickson being in contract years. Oz drafted a fullback and a injured reserve player without looking at TE.
