  1. With a rookie QB and WR you're that confident? They've never played a playoff game. They've never played an NFL game that mattered. Hmmmmmm.
  2. Really good dude, wish he would have been able to get it done here in Baltimore. This is the one draft pick that I can't believe Oz missed on. He seemed a sure fire NFL ready prospect. I can't believe he didn't light it up.
  3. Are you just instigating now??? lol lol lol
  4. How many rookie QBs do the Steelers lose to? The defense is going to overwhelm the kid. Like I said, it appears the kid is going to be something special, however he's not gonna be able to stand up to defenses like the Ravens and Steelers.
  5. My point is to not be so quick to judge people. It's easy to sit back and say this person or that person sucks. Romo doesn't suck. He's been unlucky and made some bad decisions, but he does not suck and is highly capable of winning the big one. Romo gets treated as if he's a John Kitna or even Derek Anderson. Romo needs to improve in some areas no doubt, but he does not suck. To say Elway rode Terrell Davis is overly harsh isn't it? Yeah Terrell was the best player on the team, but Elway was certainly a big part of the offense both years. I don't think just any QB could have QB'd those Denver teams to Super Bowls.
  6. Dalton has zero shot now that he's facing Pitt's defense. This is were he's welcomed to the NFL. I'm sure he's gonna be good, cuz he's making some big time throws. I have no doubt he's gonna get respect. However, he's a rookie and James Harrison is pissed off I'm sure of it.
  7. Talk about Homer. Pot calling the Kettle black there if I've ever seen it! Pitt is routinely voted the dirtiest team in the league with guys like Ward, Porter (past tense), Greene (past tense), and now the newest, Harrison. They play dirty period. The Ravens play intense, not dirty. They know when they've pulled some crap and you'll catch em going......"my bad". Pitt tries to justify their crap instead of owning it. Another thing I can't stand about that team.
  8. Just sayin in overall gameplanning. I think we'll definitely run a few three receiver sets. I also think that we can run three receivers, 5 lineman, Rice, and Pitta on a few rare occasions. Maybe in a few 2nd and short scenarios where the all out blitz won't be on etc. Then the total packages are endless. Also, if anyone remembers, Flacco ran the slant very well with Evans early on. It was a nice comfort blanket that Evans could get off the line so quickly.
  9. Wow Evans being Healthy would be unbelievable! I really didn't think he would be back until week 10 or later! Can you imagine Evans and Smith both flying down the sidelines with Boldin having single coverage underneath??????? Oh Btw, if you manage to bottle them up, please account for Pitta and Rice!
  10. I'm very impressed with Cundiff. I really hope he's Stover's permanent replacement for many years. I can't stand Kicker carousel.
  11. The hits couldn't have happened to a better guy.
  12. Romo doesn't suck. He's posted QB ratings of 90 or higher for 5 straight seasons and is currently on track for his 6th. He's thrown 20 TDs 4 of the 5 seasons, and would have last year as well if it wasn't for his injury. Now he hasn't had success in the playoffs yet, but it's no reason to give up on the guy. He's a warrior and I'm confident he's gonna prove all the arm chair critics wrong one day. Now here's a postseason and NFL legends ratings in a few games: 1 td 1 int 83.6 1 td 3 int 36.8 0 td 2 int 19.4 Now that was the persons ratings and td and ints for three out of 4 years, and that was his regression. His best year was his first year and it just got worse. The team and the city had every reason to give up on the guy. But they didn't. As a result, here's the guys last two years in the playoffs. 0 td 1 int 51.9 (Super Bowl Win) It wasn't pretty, but it was gutsy and he didn't give up. He didn't listen to the people that said he couldn't do it. 1 td 1 int 99.2 (Super Bowl Win, exclamation point on a career) John Elway.
  13. Harbaugh can't stop talking about the job Grubbs has done. This guy must be a really great guard to have this kind of influence on our OL. We should really consider locking these types of lineman up. Give Joe time and he'll make WRs look like stars! On another note, I read that Evans is returning to practice with his sights set on the Hawks game. He says the major thing is the cutting, not the straight ahead running.
  14. The Bengals will lose 5 more games before this season is over. 2 to the Steelers, 2 to the Ravens, and to Houston. Mr Dalton & Mr Green are rookies, there is a rookie wall (one of them will hit it), game tape is piling up, and their defense, while good, is not good enough to carry them. The Bengals finish 9-7 despite their 6-2 start.
  15. Yeah, I have to admit that I'm impressed that Cam worked outside of himself and allowed Joe to do what Joe does well. I didnt think he had it in him. I was dead wrong.
  16. Cam
  17. To be fair, Im a pretty positive individual and I didnt think Cam had it in him either. Sometimes I soooooooo love it when Im wrong!!!!!
  18. Whether Ray does or does not get fined, who cares. Ray has never been a cheap shot artist, period. Ward absolutely has. Anyone whom says different is like us Ravens fans saying Siragusa wouldn't lay on guys for extended periods of time. Ward and Harrison get what they deserve. They play intense, don't get me wrong and they're both great athletes. However, they routinely push the boundaries of cheap hits and dirty play. Ray Lewis has never been that guy no matter how you want to slice it. As for Joe, coooooooool like the other side of the pillow!
  19. I'm so very impressed with what Flacco, Cam, and the Ravens have going on offense. I'm not sure what happened, but it did not go ignored. I was wrong, they were right lol.
  20. Looks like the heathen prayers were not answered lol.
  21. Our Father in Heaven, before we go into battle every Raven among us will approach You, each in his own way. The Steelers too, according to their own understanding, will ask for protection and for victory. And so we bow before Your infinite wisdom. We offer our prayers as best we can. I pray that You watch over the young men like Joe Flacco that I lead into battle; You use me as Your instrument in this awful hell of war, to watch over them. Especially if they are men like this one beside me deserving of a future in Your blessing and good will. Amen. Oh, yes, and one more thing, dear Lord — about the Steelers? Ignore their heathen prayers and help us blow those little bastards straight to hell. Amen again.
  22. McNair looked great at Jens age too. I'm not praying that he's done early at all, just stating a fact that is the most likely scenario. I'd rather compete against the great rivalries that stomp on a bunch of rookies or vets that can't play. Just making an honest assessment, if he keeps taking the hits and same type injuries his career will end before it would otherwise. Concussions start to become an issue as men get older in the NFL. Especially QBs. If he's smart, (which I don't think he is because of the rape crap, motorcycle accident, etc) he would develop his game so as he doesn't have to hold the ball as long as he does. I'd rather he did mind you cuz I want the Ravens to compete against em every year!
  23. Whatever do you mean Crav? lol, Jen is a class act.
  24. Unfortunately Ben will not QB past 32 with much success. He's the new McNair. That's 3 years left. Pitt should be thinking about a replacement, cuz no matter how tough you are injuries and age ALWAYS catch up. Let's not through Favre in this mess, he did not sustain the injuries that Jen and McNair have. They're both incredibly tough, I'll give you that, but playing through and sustaining those types of injuries take their toll on the human body. Take that to the bank. We know what McNair was like after 32. He did have one great year here, but he was just too beat up to finish what he started.
  25. Ngata is injured, he is right, he missed practice yesterday.
