  1. And the Jets are ranked next to last against the run. The first team with a good running back shredded em! We need to lay some yards on this team! My bro n law will be pissed but he'll get over it! lol lol lol
  2. I was thinking the same thing Max when I read that article. Think is, two years ago Joe was wrong. Cam needed to be careful: development, ego, pace of game, etc. Now, in Joe's fourth year it's time to tell him throw it up young man. Go after some plays, you're ready.
  3. Thing is, it's not like we can't take a loss. We just wanna take a tough loss, a loss where we go down fighting. I'm tired of folding or getting punked. That lies mostly on the QB to will his team and keep fighting. It's alot to put on one guy, but that's football. My personal view is Joe is close.
  4. Being in upstate NY I feel like I'm in highschool again when the Bills had their heyday! It's Bills mania up here!
  5. Looks like Asomungha should have stayed with Oakland! How many times do players leave their teams only to find out there were in a better situation with their prior team and shouldn't have left?
  6. I like to hear that! I wonder what's holding back Kindle? He got playing time in the preseason and I thought he did well. Although, if he's gonna be a beast on the field with a little patience, perhaps inserting him later in the season would be advantageous as teams would find it harder to perpare for him. Too much conspiracy theory????? lol
  7. Did he really? He's so freakin fast for his size! I see him toss O-Lineman all the time, I guess it doesn't always translate when carrying the ball. I remember seeing footage of Ngata playing Rugby and I was thinking Holy $%&^ give him the ball lol lol lol.
  8. I wonder what it would be like to have Haloti Ngata running behind Leech in short yardage situations! Ngata has speed and power and I bet him leaning on a LB or two would be something to watch!!!
  9. Could someone who watched the game give me their assessment of McPhee? It was interesting that an undrafted rookie was given an opportunity over Kindle. I'm so pulling for Kindle to get his opportunity when he's ready. I noticed that McPhee got a sack and I believe this was his first sniff at playing time, please correct me if I'm wrong. Just curious on how this guy is playing so far.
  10. I feel like not only do we match up well vs the Jets, I feel like we outmatch the Jets. This team is built to beat teams like the Jets. I've been wrong before lol, but I really think our D is a bit much for the Jets and our offense is much better than the last time we faced them. The one thing you have to give the Jets though, they never quit and if you sleep on Sanchez he'll beat you deep. He has one of the prettiest deep balls in the league. When he gets the chance to throw it he just drops it right in.
  11. Harry Swayne talked about him saying that he told Zeus he didn't have to block most of the guys in front of him because they were scared of him! lol You'll be missed Orlando.
  12. Yeah, I'm quite certain we'll be too much for the Rams. We'll blow this team out. We need to get creative using our youngsters. We need a pass rush, and we need the WRs to make plays. Period. Actually, we need Flacco to throw to the WRs. Mark Clayton was lighting it up when he left (before his injury). Flacco needs to get play makers the ball. Use the dark side of the force Joe, whatever you gotta do! lol Go Ravens!
  13. Anything, just something to see some fire out of Joe when the chips are down. I suppose it's a double edge sword, we don't want Mr Happy feet back, however is Joe just too damn calm? Maybe I'm being too picky, who am I, Goldylocks???? Ahhhhh....Joe is just right lol.
  14. Crav....Alex Smith acutally has a higher QB rating than Flacco! lol
  15. 1. Cam Newton (Rookie) 2. Matt Hasselbeck (Washed up Vet huh) 3. Rex Grossman (ouch!) 4. Chad Henne (Double ouch!) 5. Kevin Kolb (Really Joe?) 6. Mark Sanchez (This guy looked light years behind Joe) 7. Jason Campbell 8. Colt McCoy There's others that I didn't list. Joe, I hope you hear this. You want top 5, go get it, cuz those stats don't say that. Cmon Man! You're clearly capable and I know it's only week 2, but you gotta want bro! I don't think I'll check and see who's rated higher. I know it's early and I'm sure Joe will be much higher by the end of the year, but guys like Brady and Rivers would never find themselves that low after week two...in their prime!!!!
  16. I understand that Joe disagrees with Cam's offensive philosophy. This I can understand. I find nothing wrong with that. What I'm disappointed about is that it seems Joe is letting it affect his play. Joe needs to rise up and play in spite of the adversity. Address it in the off season. And if there's nothing that can be done, he's got to play on. Did Aaron Rodgers get down on himself or his team when they suffered the most injuries (and very significant ones mind you)of any team in the NFL? No, he upped his play and led his team to a Super Bowl victory. Joe needs to start speaking in positives and lead this team! Go Ravens!
  17. That has to be one of the hottest pics I've ever seen! I've got to get my gf to do that! lol lol lol
  18. Joe is a big boy that knows his capabilities. He should also be wise enough to know that this offense and fan base is his. Joe needs to take ownership, cooperate with Cam and tell him, I need this type of play call or that type of play call, audible at the line of scrimmage. No one needs to hold his hand, Joe needs to grab this bull by the horns and hump it into submission! One inevitable fact remains that neither of the two can escape. Your destinies are intertwined. With success, they both continue to get paid. With failure they will both be blamed. Neither will escape. If they want to be successful, that must work together. The only other option is to fire Cam, but honestly if that's Joe's agenda I'm disappointed in him. Firing an OC midseason very rarely leads to any productive play, much less playoff productive play.
  19. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d822750c8/article/feds-home-of-bengals-simpson-a-pot-distribution-center?module=HP11_headline_stack It looks like Rickey chose the wrong team to play for! lol lol lol Honestly is there anything this franchise can do right? Isn't it clear that wholesale changes in culture are needed? Time and again this team drafts at the top of the list, they miss....alot! When they do hit, they squander their talents and force them into retirement. How is this running an NFL franchise??? Marvin oh Marvin, why oh why did you agree to more years with this franchise??? You had to of known about all this! There's no way you could have missed ALL of the problems.
  20. What better way to get a nice shiny new contract than to win the granddaddy of sporting events! If you hold up that Trophy as a young QB in need of contract, you got em by the coconuts! lol
  21. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-birk-cody-redding-latest-additions-to-injury-concerns-20110921,0,5012299.story Next man up, let's start seeing some explosiveness and passion from the youngsters! Remember what Achilles said, "My brothers of the sword! I would rather fight beside you than any army of thousands! Let no man forget how menacing we are! We are lions! Do you know what's there, waiting beyond that beach? Immortality! Take it! It's yours!"
  22. He says Nakamura is great in coverage. Tell me Mike, how great is in in say, 4th and a mile during the playoffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-baltimore-ravens-haruki-nakamura-needs-more-playing-time-20110921,0,4248603.story Maybe he's gotten better, fair enough, but that definitely should have been included in the little blog. Writers are I guess are no exception in today's lazy society. As they say on Fox......."Cmon MAN!" lol
  23. Not really the positive outlook I was expecting. I expect more out of Joe. I expect Joe to say, "that one is on me guys, I can find more open receivers and I will". I don't think Joe and Cam see eye to eye at all. From the comments made the past couple of years, I think he's not a fan of the offense. That's frustrating. However, Joe......we can't cry over spilled milk. We have to play the cards we're dealt.
  24. I was speaking about the WR slant, not the check down. Hitting the WR in stride on an out or an in or even a slant. It seems we either go deep in, deep out, or check down. We only work the middle with TEs it seems. I'm not expert just giving an opinion. I'd like to see us throw the defense on their heels with some quick hitting stuff. It seems nothing we run is quick hitting. We don't throw to a receiver's back shoulder...ever lol. I know it's not easy, but it seems necessary to put defenses on their heels a little. The check down isn't quick hitting, it occurs after a QB reads through progressions.
  25. Calling Cam Cameron....calling Cam....exercise the short pass please!!!! Instituted in the 80s, the short slant pattern became all the rage and still continues to be deadly weapon today Cam!!!!!! lol Cmon, our weak link since Flacco has been QB is getting the short passes going. We have one of the best in the business with Boldin. Can we throw some pressure and cover two nullifying short passes please????
