Tweets are not news. They're gossip. It's what tabloids like Star and Enquirer used to fill their articles. It used to be that reporters would have to have several sources to confirm news. They couldn't just report whatever someone said just because they said it. Reporters have become very lax with their writing in this regard.

Yeah, but what has any of the other tackles done? From what I have seen we only had three guys that could play Tackle, Oher, McKinnie, and Ose. Now we're gonna go with Harwood and Reid as backups??? That is gonna be very hairy.

I'm one to admit that the Steelers have an overall edge on our series. However......Tebow shredded that defense and it was nonexistant in two games against us last year. Let's not live in the past. The Steelers need to show me something in order for some smack talkin. What have they done lately? They're good enough to get you some wins and into the playoffs, but that D has looked downright awful in the big games. Let's say the jury is out. lol

Crav Painter has a body of work in the regular season. What in that body of work says that he is a decent backup? They guy beats 2s and 3s, that's all. As soon as he's put in against 1s he folds. I just dont think cutting painter was bad. He's not a field genral, he's not a good pocket passer, he's not a gunslinger, and he cant run. One would need at least one strength in those catergories to be a backup.

Painter just isnt the answer. The guy flat out makes terrible decisions and he has no athleticism to fall back on. I doubt Painter would keep us ag 500 in a 4 game stretch. Tyrod I could see making just enough plays to go 500.

Painter makes horrible decisions at least 3-4 times a game agaonst 2s and 3s. What has he ever done with the 1s that has ever made anyone think he wasnt cutable? Tyrod on the other hand can do what Painter does and he can scramble. Simply put Tyrod can do more, even if that more isnt all that good.

Cmon guys this is preseason. This is not the be all end all here. Sometimes thr jury is out a lil longer for some than others. Upshaw is going to be a very good player in this league.

I like Taylor for the simple reason that when his arm fails him his feet can bail him out. I think Taylor would be a good fit for 3 or 4 games until game tape was established. I hear Boller is available lol....just kidding.

I think it's way too early to say Kindle can't make a play. If he's this way next year during camp I would cut him, but his injury was very serious. If he's showing progress we gotta give this kid some time. His potential is through the rough. Omar may be doing well against 2nd and 3rd stringers, but cmon, his potential has a very low ceiling. As far as our defense last night, it was 2nd and 3rd stringers against the Rams 1st teamers. I read a stat that stated as soon as the talent levels evened up, the Ravens didn't give up a TD. I'm just saying, our coaching staff has made some pretty good decisions over the years here. I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Our line is going to be just fine. That nasty rook Ose is gonna be the fill we need at left guard. That's all we really need. Yanda, Oher, and McKinnie are solid. Birk will be solid for at least half the year. We're good in that department. Can't wait for Cincci! Dalton is gonna get his arse handed to him.
