  1. I'm with you both. I'm totally neutral...I basically expect whatever happens. Nervous as hell considering the implications, though.
  2. Pennington.
  3. Fixed.
  4. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics...man-sequel.html http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/t.../18/221144.aspx http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/story...from=public_rss Shia LeBeouf is Robin. Michael Caine is again Alfred. And Rachel Weisz is Catwoman. And the working title of the movie is "Gotham".
  5. Of DUNDALK, thank you. It's on their side of the river. And they continue to lose the annual football game.
  6. I came in here looking for sex, sir.
  7. Our star receiver of the future (future because he's out this week)!
  8. Hope it was great!
  9. Harbaugh said three days ago that Washington should be playing. I really don't know where you guys are hearing anything to the contrary.
  10. Ya know, except for the fact that Rivers has the most TDs and highest QB rating of anyone in the league this year, not to mention the best TD/INT ratio. Yeah, no success... Your Cassel reasoning is absolutely comical. You don't really look at statistics, do you? It's okay, neither does anyone voting for the Pro Bowl.
  11. I fully agree with Max. The gameplan was pretty obviously to pound the ball for the majority of the evening, and give Joe the occasional open look. We had more trouble than we liked rushing that way, and Cam obviously wasn't confident in handing more of the plays to Flacco and asking him to throw into that defense. It did enough for more than 50 minutes, and bit us in the end. It was apparently Cam's opinion that we wouldn't have been in it that long if more of the onus was on Flacco's shoulders. I trust that.
  12. Your insinuation boils down to the premise that, if both were surrounded by great receivers and a great defense, Flacco and Fitzpatrick would be Pro Bowl QBs. To that, you proved an elementary level of reading comprehension by pointing out that I responded with "hardly" to the sentiment. To suggest that having a great defense--because he already has the great receivers--would elevate Fitzpatrick from scrub to star status is absolutely ludicrous. While we're boarding this train, I'll take this opportunity to politely assert that you give the fly-by-night insults a rest. They're unnecessary and, plainly, give me a good laugh due to the halfhearted attempts they usually are. Really? I had no internet service for over a month and couldn't make your league's precious fantasy picks, and that suddenly grounds any irrelevant opinion I have and shows what I know about a sport that I'm pretty damn sure I'm more knowledgeable about than yourself? Give me a break. And give everyone else one, too. We don't need it. And Ryan Fitzpatrick sucks.
  13. By all accounts, is Hayden Penn now garbage? He's in absolutely no starting rotation discussion.
  14. Unless it was covered up intentionally, which is my opinion.
  15. He didn't have help, either. Rookie QB, playing the Stealers, minus 1.5 of your two RBs, etc. I don't blame him. He didn't help, but the only throw that hurt was the poor interception (the one Townsend nearly picked when Mason was drilled was a bad throw, too), but he didn't make the inexcusable play that cost us the game. I just can't really pin it on him. He made a lot of good throws that he got NO help with.
  16. Yeah, like I said, we're in if we win. We shouldn't have expected a win today. we really shouldn't have. But after seeing what happened, it should have been ours. That's the real bite.
  17. Rice would have made quite a bit of difference, I think. There was no need for Flacco to be throwing that much once you saw how badly he was struggling. I don't think he's going anywhere, but he might find his playing time disappear.
  18. Yes. We have a tiebreaker over the Dolphins and Patriots, and that would leave the Jets a game behind us.
  19. I didn't think of that. You're totally right. If the Jets win out, they win the division. And that means the Dolphins would have lost a game, anyway. So, yes. We're huge Brett Favre fans here for two weeks. They play the Bills and Dolphins.
  20. As long as the Jets win the AFC East. If the Dolphins or Pats win, and the Jets still win out, we will not.
  21. No, the 3rd and 1 call was MORE ridiculous. It wasn't even CLOSE. The Chargers have Ed Hochuli. We have Walt Coleman (you know, when we don't have Mike Carey). Absolutely ludicrous.
  22. GOD I LOVE THE BILLICK/DITKA COMMERCIAL
  23. I planned on it, but coughed up my ticket for my uncle instead.
  24. This thread is now open. Sorry!
