[No topics on Ray being a FA?]

Why would Ray leave? for money maybe but I doubt it.

 

Why leave the team that was one game out of a superbowl it would have one. why leave a team where you are the team/franchise. Why leave a team that could possibly get you at least an afc title if not another super bowl ring.

 

Ray Lewis has what another year or two max left in him? what other team would be stupid enough to give him a huge front loaded contract; the raiders and cowboys you say? Sure but why play out the remaining years of your career with teams that can't get a winning record let alone a playoff spot.

 

That is exactly why Ray would leave. For the money. I would think, if we were to match any top contracts, than I would think Ray would stay. But if another team comes in and gives 2 or 3 million more over the ravens, than bye bye ray.

 

Not sure why people think Ray isn't about the money. He already has 2 DMVP and a superbowl ring, now its about one more big pay day.

I wouldn't be surprised that he is hurting for money. Because of the Atlanta incident, what he didn't pay in settlement, he paid in legal fees as well as lack of endorsement money throughout his career (only recently has he shown up in more adverstisements). Tthe kid situation doesn't help.

 

Don't forget about his failing business that he has. At least I think they are failing?

How does this affect our cap?

 

Most teams have incentives based on performance. My question is if a team is close to the cap prior the start of the season, does this include these incentives, or do the incentives add to the salary cap after they hit the escalation?

Koch, who was the holder for a field goal at the Cowboys’ 22-yard line, took the snap and gained nine yards on a fake field goal for a crucial first down. What is Reeds life altering condition?

 

He has some sort of condition around his neck where he is playing with a good amount of pain.

 

He could do surgery, but surgery could end his career. So for the rest of his career, he will have this nagging pain in his neck, until he gets surgery.

 

At least that is my understanding.

If NE loses we basically clinch. The only reason we don't clinch is if Jets and Miami Tie next week, than they both are in, and the Ravens are left out.

agreed. The one time we went play action on first down was almost a 60 yard TD. You would think we would switched it up a little bit. I guess Cam thought the pounding of mcclain would wear them down for the 4th.

It also looks like, if we lose, against dallas, and NE loses against Arizona we are still in. Even if Jets and Miami win out.
