  1. so this is what 3 years 62.5 million gets you
  2. No pocket awareness for the 3 year 62.5 million guy
  3. Joe is the big money guy playing Qb, Joe needs to start playing like it. Yanda commits 2 penalties and it's Mckinney's fault , Right
  4. Yanda 2 penalties, let's get it together Marshall
  5. the Bills secondary is decimated , Joe should have a field day
  6. Mayweather is a walking contradiction and a hypocrite , thats my main beef with him. he fought Oscar and Cotto at 154 but he's making this kid have to lose an extra 2 pounds (152), if you're so great why are you using your status to gain an advantage. IF Gayweather oops i mean Mayweather wins there's an asterisk next to it in my book. But i agree with you OS , Alvarez has quick hands , with power and he'll eventually catch him and KHTFO.
  7. I know we probably don't have many, if any, boxing fans on here but i'll ask anyway. Who you got tonite? i like Alvarez by KO, he'll beat Mayweathers arms to render them almost useless then he'll knock him out, Alvarez will be losing on the cards when he gets the KO.
  8. They're showing a medley Suh's indiscretions and it's almost comical to me. When this guy sees an opportunity to cheap shot someone he takes it. You have to be a little demented to be playing football an as soon as an opposing player is vulnerable you're right there to take advantage of it. It's like he's playing football and at the same time he's looking for someone to injure.
  9. The only BAD game i remember Cary having was the Denver game in the regular season, At least Cary makes big plays, i could stomach Smith if he made a big play here and there but he doesn't.
  10. Cary Williams had an INT and broke up a pass near the end of the game that sealed it for the eagles. Wish we could have kept him and let Jimmy Smith go, Cary was playing some very good ball at the end of last year.
  11. Heap and Dallas Clarke are the same player, good in there prime, old ,washed up,and shell shocked now. not excited about either now if we brought in Furstenburg off of the practice squad that would be something to get excited about but not an old beat up has been.
  12. no one has anybody like Boldin except the 9ers.
  13. oh shit! jacoby grabbing his knee
  14. agreed 100% , we should be dropping Joe straight back and running a little more
  15. Time for some REAL tackle football!
  16. yeah i know, which is why i said "Marino couldn't run" i was just giving Marino some love he was one of my favorites as a kid.
  17. Dan Marino made subtle moves that made him hard to sack, if you're old enough to have seen Marino play then you know what i'm talking about. Marino couldn't run but his pocket awareness was off the charts which made him elusive though he didn't have legs.
  18. How many starting Qb's in the league ran consistently last year? Kap, rg3, wilson and newton. Vick didn't run much(that was his problem) Reid turned him into a pocket passer and he had no line thats a bad combination. so of the QB's who consistently run only RG3 didn't last the whole year , so i don't get the whole you can't depend on a mobile qb to last the whole year argument. The argument use to be scrambling qb's can't play in the NFL until one of them did it, then it was they can't win consistently until one of them did it , then it was they can't get you to the playoffs until one of them did it, there's always going to be haters on the running qb , hell it hasn't been until recently they were even given a chance to use there skill set and the reason why is because of the sentiment of the OP, you didn't have forward thinking minds running teams until recently.
  19. I'm a ravens fan and i hate the steelers also, but i can still look at a steelers player and be objective. Ben may use his mobility more because his o-line stinks but to say he is far from mobile and that it's his only option because his 0-line stinks sounds stupid to me.
  20. the OP didn't say option QB's , he said mobile, and Ben and Rodgers are mobile
  21. Rodgers and Ben aren't runners like a Kaepernick or Newton but i consider them to be mobile , they move around, run sometimes when nothing is there. I guess there are degrees of mobility where a Kaepernick would be on the high end and a Ben would be on the low end but nevertheless they are mobile and thus making the OP's theory of which one is better moot. I can think of many Qb's who are statues(pocket passers) that are bums and never get hurt. Using Brady and Manning as your examples of pocket passers is misleading and i'm sure done on purpose to try and enforce your stance of the pocket QB being better but i think you have good and bad QB's in both categories
  22. Rodgers is a "mobile" Qb and he won a superbowl Big ben is a "mobile" qb and he's won two superbowls. Kaepernick is "mobile" and came close. Manning and Brady are statues but all-time greats, Joe is mobile but chooses not to use his feet. I think the injuries that you are referring to are not because they are mobile, it's because of there body type and the decisions they make once they leave the pocket, it's not just because they are "mobile"
  23. Joe needs to take off and run sometimes, he's an athlete, use your legs, the middle was wide open to run and he takes a sack.
  24. At least the defense is looking good( hunching shoulders)
