  1. COLLECTING FIRSTS: Tuesday's practice was marked by a solid showing by the offense. During an exercise in which the starters faced a variety of third-down scenarios, the unit converted four of six attempts, including four of the first five. View the full article

  4. It's unclear whether Pro Bowl right guard is still smarting from apparent leg injury suffered during Monday's sessionStarting right guard Marshal Yanda is not at Tuesday’s practice at the team’s headquarters in Owings Mills. Yanda appeared to be briefly injured Monday when tight end Billy Bajema undercut outside linebacker Chavis Williams, who rolled into Yanda’s lower leg. Yanda remained on the turf for a few seconds and did not leave the practice field, but it’s unclear if that is the reason for his absence. View the full article

  6. On one hand, the Ravens are proving to have depth on the line, but a consistent group has yet to be establishedAfter two preseason games and almost three weeks worth of practices, it seems that the Ravens still don’t have their starting offensive line solidified. The line in Monday’s practice was significantly different than the line in Friday’s preseason game against the Detroit Lions, and it will probably be different again next week. View the full article
  7. TAKE THAT KID: Undrafted free agent Justin Tucker has mostly gotten the better of incumbent Billy Cundiff in the kicking competition, but not Monday. Both were good from 29, 34, 41, 52 and 58 yards. But with the rest of the team getting into each kick, Cundiff converted from 61 yards while Tucker's attempt from the same distance sailed wide right. In fairness to Tucker, there was an issue with the snap that threw off his timing a little bit. View the full article
  8. When Terrell Suggs went down with a torn right Achilles tendon in late April, it seemed like a foregone conclusion that second-round draft pick Courtney Upshaw would start at one of the outside linebacker spots for the Ravens in Week 1. That belief was reinforced this spring when the rookie linebacker from Alabama worked almost exclusively with the first-team defense. View the full article

  16. TWO-MINUTE SUCCESS The final portion of the Ravens' practice involved the 2-minute drill. From their own 32-yard line, quarterback Joe Flacco and the offense marched 68 yards, capping the drive with a pass from Flacco to wide receiver Tandon Doss, who scampered 21 yards to the end zone.
