Has anyone heard who will not suit up yet?

They just might as well cancel the rest of the season and go to the SB with the same two teams and the same results. While the Ravens started defense of their title getting stomped in Denver last year, there is no SB hangover for Seattle scoring 36 pts vs GB while appearing in SB form already. Ravens website has article from PR man that it's time to shut up and play football. Seahawks always play well at home but 36 points? Coaches make all the difference in the world as Pete Carroll has his team psyched up already and last year the Ravens were in a SB hangover. Might as well start the SB now. sarcasm

It's possible that Pierce has lingering problems from his concussion on the hit that KJ missed and thus the need to bring up Toussaint. Pierce practiced all week but complained about some dizziness.

Yea, man. He had a great camp and pre-season but he better not miss anymore blocks like the one that almost ruined Pierce last week plus another miss. He won't last a minute if he gets the RB and QB hurt.

Exactly, plus they can always re-sign him in 2 weeks when Rice comes back and send Toussaint back to PS. I'm glad they promoted him. He's a nice backup and you don't know if Pierce will go down - AGAIN! Toussaint can play special teams too so that's another plus.

I guess Baddell wanted to make up for "blowing it" with the Rice suspension so he picks on poor Jimmy. Fine is the most allowed under league rules. I just remember Vince Newsome pimping him early on in camp. I don't remember him in pre-season games but didn't concentrate watching with the 4th and 5th stringers on. Somebody thought he was good because Miami picked him off waivers when Ravens tried to sneak him thru the practice squad. Now they have to keep him on the 53 man squad. He was undrafted.

You bet but not with Webb. He's damaged goods at the moment so nobody wants him. Deonte Thompson is the trade bait for a good CB. Oz signed Josh Wilson one year and others just before Week 1.

Another great Ozzie draft. Look at these rookies including PS above. This has the potential to be a great rookie class for the Ravens: Mosley Jernigan Brooks Gilmore Taliaferro Urschel Hurst Campanaro Plus, Urban, Butler, and Wenning.

That leaves 4 more slots. Ravens are now signing John Simon from 2013 draft to PS. A lot of fans are happy about that. A.J. Pataiali'i made it Olatoye and Meder are the two new names that hadn't been leaked.

Thanks for the write-ups, man. How does he do it. Ozzie keeps coming up with these undrafted finds and if they don't make Ravens somebody will claim them. Look what happened to the greatest one that got away - Priest Holmes who became one of the greatest RBs in history for KC. Billick wasn't smart enough to do what Vermeil did and change the blocking schemes to suit his style of slash running similar to Rice's. Holmes couldn't move the pile here his last year so Ravens got Jamal Lewis who won a ton of games and SB 35 for us. But we would have won SB 36 when Jamal went down had we kept Holmes. Double damn.

So far: Jensen Wenning Toussant Jacobs Supernaw DAMN - Dolphins claimed Sammy Samster, undrafted CB whom Ravens wanted for PS. The other Newsome in the front office was pimping him. Guess Miami saw the same potential.

Oh man, I just read where Jensen has sleep apnea. That would explain his down fall. The sleep apnea thing with Jensen could have been serious and caused physical probs. It's caused by too much weight. You actually stop breathing while you're sleeping and you can die if it goes untreated. They send you to a sleep study to determine if you have it. You feel tired during the day for lack of sleep at night and take naps during the day. Some people fall asleep while driving and cause accidents. Once diagnosed with SA, a C-PAP or BI-PAP machine is ordered and that takes care of it. I've slept with a machine for the past 10 years and take it when I travel. Once when I went to the Indy PO game with T we were in the middle of the flight and I said, damn, I forgot my bi-pap and T said how are you going to sleep. I said I'm not and didn't sleep for two nights. I was afraid to so I said in a chair in my room. I did doze from time to time on the plane going back. My lung doc said he had only two patients in last 25 years that went off a bi pap and they both lost 100 lbs. So Jensen might have struggled in camp during the day and felt tired and might have even dozed. I once fell and broke my shoulder sleep walking at night and leaning on a chair. Didn't even know I was leaning vs the chair. Hopefully, they'll put Jensen on the PS.

I'm shocked to but Jensen went down hill in a hurry and Urschel passed him on the depth chart. DeCosta said he will be the Ravens future center when Urschel was drafted. It's still hard to believe that Jensen was cut. Wenning should make the PS.

The entire game was vs scrubs for the most part. Ravens didn't even start their big guys. Joe and Rice were on the sidelines wearing t-shirts. Everyone wants to keep Toussant the RB and his runs were vs the scrubs. Taliaferro moved up to the first team after making great runs vs the scrubs and led the league in rushing going into the Skins game but most were vs the scrubs. Cox was only here for 2 days learning a system and making plays in his first game. He has more experience than Chykie and Asa combined. Nobody knew Corey would win the PO game vs Denver with a huge interception that led to Tuck's winning FG. Cox might do something similar. I'm just trying to be optimistic. He'll be OK, Geesh.

Um, this is more than 1 play. Clearly, you weren't watching and this with being on the club for 2 days while learning a new system. The boxscore had him listed with 4 Ts and a PD.

He's in now, that's for sure, unless........ Does anyone think Ozzie will use him for trade bait for a CB? Teams need a WR who can be a return guy too.

Chykie has the measurables but has been unable to transfer it to the pro game from college. It's just hasn't clicked upstairs for him. He's done a little better lately.

I think that's why Kubes wanted a young strong arm QB and they drafted Wenning late in the draft. Wenning seems to have the strong arm. I bet they keep him.

Great point. The Jags, and Minn aren't exactly great teams. Ravens front 7 should take a lot of heat off secondary.
