dc. Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 In all seriousness... this is pathetic. Breakdown of scouting departments in the AL East. At just a glance, notice that the O's have just 36 total members in their scouting department. The next lowest is the Rays with 50. The rest are all over 60. thundercleetz Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Have you ever thought that our scouts might just be twice as good as everyone else's? Quote
ForceEight Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Look at the numbers. It's just the international thing. We have nothing on that front. Quote
dc. Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 And that's entirely inconsequential... you know, its not like Mariano Rivera, Robinson Cano or any other big superstars have come out of the international arena that the Orioles could have had their hands on. The international system is screwy, but the Orioles still need to get in the game - big time. Quote
ForceEight Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I'm not diminishing the importance whatsoever. I'm just saying...that's where the obvious discrepancy lies. Quote
