Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays everyone! I'm having a blast since I've been playing Madden '08 for my PC All-Day (no '09 for PC this year 'cuz EA Sports was idiotic in that move, and yea I have no life just playing Madden hahaha) with a brand new controller my little brother got me for Christmas by completing offers via PrizeRebel. They shipped it immediately and he got it in 2 days, just in time for Christmas. Actually I want to clarify something that my brother just explained to me (how PrizeRebel works, et al), it was Amazon who shipped it. It's really amazing because my previous controller sucked so badly that the buttons would get stuck even though I never spilt anything on it and my HB would walk instead of run half the time, lol! (ok, 1/5th the time)

 

My brother didn't have to pay a cent for the contoller, not even shipping, it just took him a few days of PrizeRebel -- a site which I do not belong, but its pretty amazing. He has gotten a lot of fat loot and I recommend it to you all, even though I don't use it because they only allowed 1 account per household. IMPORTANT: If you get one, here is the install guide to use: http://xbcd360guide.50webs.com/guide.html -- If you use standard Microsoft drivers, it's screwed up and doesn't play like a 360. For example; they give you numbers for throwing options -- yet the buttons are letters and they even got the colors wrong! Trust me, use that guide to get it working just like the 360 and if you need any help, PM me.

 

P.S. -- You can pick up Madden '08 @ stores for $15 and download updated rosters @ http://football-freaks.com and realistic draft classes. For example, I traded up and drafted Rey Maualuga USC and he's a freakin' monster! He's playing OLB right now until Ray Lewis retires.

P.S. -- You can pick up Madden '08 @ stores for $15 (bargain bin for the win!) and download updated rosters @ http://football-freaks.com and realistic draft classes. For example, I traded up and drafted Rey Maualuga USC and he's a freakin' monster! He's playing OLB right now until Ray Lewis retires. Also they released 2009 mod which comes with an installer you can get @ http://football-freaks.com/forums/index.php?dlcategory=46 , and it contains new playbooks for each team, coaches, players/rosters, draft class, graphics, player mugshots, and much much more -- everything updated for 2009. Right now, its my heroinware and football fix until Sunday's.

 

I also traded Mark Clayton and a 1st (next year's draft) for Darrius Heyward-Bey (Maryland Terps, baby!), lol. Bye-Bye Mark. ;) Heyward-Bey is blessed with blazing speed, acceleration, agility and leaping ability. He's a complete monster. While he does lack the strength of Michael Crabtree, Heyward-Bey can go up top and grab most anything Joe throws at him.
