Ravens Insider: READER POLL: What should the Ravens do with Lamar Jackson?

The Ravens and quarterback Lamar Jackson are heading for an interesting offseason.

The two-time NFL Most Valuable Player carries salary cap hits of $74.5 million in 2026 and 2027 under the terms of the five-year, $260 million contract extension he signed in 2023, making a restructured deal or a new extension all but a certainty.

But a year after finishing second in MVP voting, Jackson has dealt with several lower-body injuries and missed four games while Baltimore has slipped to a 7-8 record amid a disappointing season that began with Super Bowl aspirations. Jackson is doubtful to play in a must-win game against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night after suffering a back injury in Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots.

Columnist Mike Preston writes that Jackson and the Ravens are at a crossroads, and that something needs to change for the star quarterback and his team to reach a Super Bowl together.

What should the Ravens do with Jackson? We want to hear from you. After you vote, leave a comment and we might use your take in The Baltimore Sun.

The Baltimore Sun reader poll is an unscientific survey in which website users volunteer their opinions on the subject of the poll.
