ExtremeRavens Posted yesterday at 09:03 PM Posted yesterday at 09:03 PM The Cleveland Browns have requested to interview Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken for their head coach opening, a source with direct knowledge of the situation confirmed to The Baltimore Sun on Tuesday. The news comes less than 48 hours after Baltimore’s season ended in a crushing 26-24 Week 18 defeat to the Steelers in Pittsburgh that eliminated the Ravens from playoff contention. It’s also the second straight offseason that Monken, 59, has drawn interest from other teams. Last season, after Baltimore became the first team in NFL history to throw for at least 4,000 yards and rush for 3,000 in the same season, he interviewed with the Las Vegas Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars. Monken was the Browns’ offensive coordinator in 2019. This article will be updated. Have a news tip? Contact Brian Wacker at bwacker@baltsun.com, 410-332-6200 and x.com/brianwacker1.
