Long-term extension remains goal and both sides will have until July 16 to achieve itThe Ravens are poised to apply the franchise tag to Pro Bowl running back Ray Rice, who would otherwise be set to hit the open market with the other unrestricted free agents on March 13. The Ravens have until Monday to apply the tag though Pro Football Talk reported that they are poised to do it tomorrow.
