  1. From Jamison Hensley’s  twitter:

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (quad injury) moved around well during Tuesday’s walkthrough. In taking snaps, he looked fine in his drop backs. This is a change from Monday, when Jackson walked gingerly entering the fieldhouse.

  2. Every time I think this team will come out lethargic or play poorly in a “trap” game they surprise me and come out dominant. Lamar is so singlularly focused on greatness and it’s spreading to the rest of the team.  I feared the Pats, Seahawks, Texans.  I don’t fear the Rams after getting a pretty good look at the vs the Steerlers.  Goff is terrible this season. Their defense is legit but I see no reason to pick against a hotter Ravens team that doesn’t seem to suffer let downs.  Ravens 28-17

While they may look that way based on stats, neither of the other greatest defenses, Ravens, Bears, Steelers, had quarterbacks throwing passes right to them.

Granted, Eddie George did hand the ball off to Ray Lewis... But nobody, nobody will ever give up less pts, 65, INCLUDING the playoffs, than the Ravens defense.... None not even this fake great defense called the Pats.

I hope Roman does not come out and try to show off the passing attack. We know Billy B will put 8 in the box, rush all 8 and dare Lamar to beat them. But their defense is smaller, not as strong, go to two tight end sets and run the piss & vinegar out of them, even if it is 3 plays & out, that is still over 160 seconds off the clock, but wearing them down.

Run up the gut, run wide, make them run sideline to sideline. Then come back with the ball control passes to the tight ends, and a wheel route to Brown out of the back field...

Yes, what we should have done to the chargers in the playoffs.

  4. against the chiefs Harbaugh failed the team by psyching himself out and having his team play outside themselves in an attempt to outsmart a tough opponent. The Ravens never had a chance. Hopefully this week he just allows the Ravens O to play their game and eat up clock with those long meticulous on the ground drives. It takes the opposing crowd out of the game, tires the opposing D and frustrates the opposing O.

  5. this game should not be this close. it goes back to what i said after mia. you veat badteams into the ground.

Im not complaining. The game was effectively over after that long drive and FG. They did what they had to do especially considering the run back to start the game

  6. He's gonna get hurt running that way..

I hate it I hate it I hate it. Should only be doing that kinda stuff in critical regular season or postseason games. Not on the second series early in a game against one of the worst teams in the league

  7. the run is fine. just not lamar doing 80% of it.

Looks like they were keying on the running backs up the middle Lamar made em pay. When they adjust and start spying on him from the edge Gus and 21 will have more success up the middle

  8. I hope Lamar has a good game handing the ball off to our running backs. Take advantage of that 31st ranked run D and run the ball down their throats. It makes for a boring offense for the home crowd but the less time we put our defense on the field against dalton the better.
