  1. I really liked this kid Rainey. Harbs tried unsuccessively to trade him, but no dice. Somebody in the need for a 2cnd running back or special teams return man is going to snatch him up by Tuesday.
  2. All I can really think of is, 'wow".
  3. As to this Flacco poster stuff, I wouldn't be suprized if the NFL did it on purpose to give Denver more revenge bulliton board material.
  4. Your true feelings about this game? I'm not as optimistic as before. I just feel that our offense isn't in full sinc right now. Plus, the revenge factor, plus playing at Denver. 23- 13. Broncos. It's just one game.
  5. I guess that leaves just Damien Berry, huh?
  6. Marlon Brown and Aaron Mellette at wide receiver and Rainey at halfback. Chances are slim that they keep all three because of special teams though. Your thoughts.
  7. Wow, in my mind, I can still see a photo of Johnnie Unitas with that same exact smile. Fate?
  8. I don't either, but we'll talk about it this week.
  9. Can't say I blame 'em for being pizzed. Wouldn't you?
  10. I agree O.S. She was just quoting from the article.
  11. They sure do love Peyton, don't they? Once again, no love to our Ravens.
  12. I would love another superbowl game. That party at my downstairs bar last year was one of the best times of my life. Man, did we kill some booze that night. YEEEEEEEHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
  13. ........that if the Ravens can score 17 points a game, we will win over 90% of our games this year. This defense is that good.
  14. So how do you feel about Stokely now?
  15. V- I agree 100% with you. Keep those six. However, if Laquan Williams is that valuable on special teams, the Ravens should replace him with Deonte Thompson, and place Thompson on the practice squad. Also, a great piece by Eisenburg (I believe) did reference Doss's considerable contributions to special team punts as the gunner. Last year in the playoffs, the Ravens took Doss out on a punt and that's when Denver scored a punt return for a TD. Thursday, the same thing occurred when Doss was on the bench. Maybe Doss is also a pretty valuable special teamer. These factors are all considerations that the coaches will have to sort out.
  16. Good point tgann. The Ravens know that they are not that fast, but either were Boldin or Pitta for that matter. Both these new guys have a knack for getting open in the field and both have great hands. Again, our 3rd down guy will be Stokely.
  17. I'm one of those millions of idiots. I got an idea, why don't we knock it off with the political bull. We seem to get along much better when we do.
  18. BULLSHIT! Hey, everybody has his or her right to their own opinion.
  19. Which one will be the most productive this year? Who will get the most throws? I believe it will be Stokely, especially on 3rd downs. Both were great pick ups. Your thoughts?
  20. That last interception Joe threw vs. Atlanta- wheeew! He threw it to a Raven receiver with three Atlanta defenders practically glued to him. Joe has to wake up mentally. Sometimes, it seems he falls to sleep out there. But, then again, it's preseason. Two more to go, then off to Denver, Co.
  21. After lstening to Tony Lombardo on 105.7, it appears the Ravens did McClain a huge favor. They could have cut him, as many teams would have. The Ravens are a player friendly team, so chose, rather than cut him, to keep him around for 1.5 million, even if he doesn't play. Ravens are a class organization. The word is getting around the NFL of the same. That is why we pick up key players from other teams, ie: Dallas Clark, Darryl Smith, etc.
