Thanks Grub and Tsyl, and especially what T said. I know that Christ Jesus is with me and also with everyone. I know that He does not like the type of hate that this has caused. Like Max said- this NFL is an emotional release from the daily grind and obligations that we owe to our families, especially on Sundays. It is big time, for me. I, like you, love our Ravens. That's why I said- just play the game and leave the politics out of it.

Grub- Unfortunately for me, my aliments are not going away. I have a blood cancer, type II diabetes, and just had open heart surgery last June. I am retired law enforcement for 32 years and am retired from the Md. Air National Guard. Thank you for your words. I deeply love my country and respect our 1st amendment rights. Just as the players have the right to protest, other Americans have the right to protest what the players are doing. NFL rules prohibit the players from not standing, which states that "players shall stand, at attention, with their helmets in their left hand during the National Anthem". It is their own rules which they violate. The fans pay alot of money to attend these games. It is, quite simply, not the proper venue to do so. And an insult to those who have worn the uniform. I hope of you who stand with these players, that you will give this some more thought. And Papa- I choose just the opposite- to NOT be ignorant. I am predicting that their will be more fights this Sunday than ever. I told my son not to get involved in this sort of politics, by not fighting at the game, whatever the excuse may be. This entire protest is a major distraction and does not belong in the NFL and it's fan base. Like Max said, the NFL brings joy to many fans like me and him. Just play the freak'n game guys.

I actually have many reasons for this, especially my health issues. But, this disrespect for our national anthem, flag, and military was the last straw. I still don't even understand why they are doing this. Just play freak'in football. You're paid millions to do just that. BTW, I AM ex-military and I love my country. It's not perfect but we are a beacon for freedom and hope. Just ask the millions who have emigrated here from elsewhere.

After the way we played last week? At home? I don't believe so.

So far, this year and last year. Most players on IR on the entire league. But, I will admit, injuries were not why we were blown out yesterday. They were simply- unprepared.

And that we did, from the bottom to the top. Defense, offense, special teams, coaching, and front office. They should tell the league that they are never going back to that place, nevermore. The only positive thing I can point out when losing by 37 points is they are extremely lucky that they only got one loss out of that.

I can easily see a loss to the Steelers after flying all the way back from London, and then a loss in Oakland. This is a tough schedule. That makes three.

I just worry about why the Ravens are leaving tonight, as opposed to last Monday. If it were me, I would want to get acclimated ASAP to the London time. The Jags have done this before, so advantage goes to them. However, that being said, the Ravens are still the better team. They have moved up to the 10th best team in the NFL. Their D is the best in the league, my opinion of course. They are favored by 4 and have beat the odds in both games. Ravens still owe the jags a punch in the mouth after they won that game in Bmore a couple of years ago with that weird game where Jax kicked the game winner. That game was, in my opinion again, was stolen by the jags and the refs. Ravens win in a slugfest by starting slow and then coming back to win 23-17.

Ravens favored by 4. I thought it would be more than that.

I heard that Brandon Williams has some kind of foot injury.

Maybe I'm just stupid, but can not see any reasonable Raven fan criticizing the team for any reason after beating the Bengals 20 to 0 in Cincy, mind you. I just can't. Do any of these haters have any idea how hard it is to win an away game in the NFL?

Ravens favored by 7, but we'll see how good they really are by watching Thurs. night football tonight.
