According to Miami police, San Francisco 49ers players Colin Kaepernick and Quinton Patton and Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette are being investigated in connection with what is being called a "suspicious incident" that occurred in Miami earlier this month. [Update: the full incident report can be found at the bottom of the page]

According to the Miami police department's report, the alleged incident took place at Lockette's apartment at 9:00 p.m. on April 1. Patton and Kaepernick were also present in the apartment. Here is part of the report's narrative:

TMZ first broke the news that an investigation was underway, claiming that a source within the Miami police department told them that Kaepernick was being investigated in connection with an alleged sexual assault that took place at the Viceroy Hotel in Miami.

They talked for a while and she mixed some drinks for all of them and gave them shots. Advised that they told her that in order to drink the shots she had to "hit" the bong which contained marijuana.

They sat down, talked, and watched the basketball game. She started to feel light headed and went to a bedroom to lie down. [Redacted] took off her jacket and jewelry. Mr. Kaepernick came behind her into the bedroom and started kissing her. She advised they were kissing (mouth) and Mr. Kaepernick started to undressed [sic] her. She got completely naked. Mr. Kaepernick told her that he was going to be right back and left the bedroom. They did not have sex. [Redacted] advised that she was in bed naked and Mr. Patton and Mr. Lockette opened the door and "peeked" inside. She told them "what are you doing? Where is Colin?"; "get out!" They closed the door and left. She cannot remember anything after that.

[Redacted] woke up in a hospital bed and doesn't remember how she got there or who transported her to the hospital. [Redacted] advised that she has had a sexual relationship with Mr. Kaepernick in the past.

The Sacramento Bee has since provided more details, indicating that Patton and Lockette are also part of the investigation, and that TMZ was wrong about the location and nature of the incident [Update: it seems that there are in fact residential condos at the Viceroy Hotel].

Is anyone surprised ?????.....When an athlete thinks he is bigger than what he really is, and above the law or any rules that he don't like....It's a familiar pattern.....There is their excuse for not making the playoffs this yr, if only Kap hadn't been suspended those games we would've ?????

  2. It's not competition. It is all but meaningless.

It's absurd to pay to see those games that by their own admission, is to get a look at different players in game time speed, and try out new plays and systems....It is not geared at all to the fans......Fans are just such addicts that they pay outrageous prices to see a meaningless game to us...

Never been to one and never plan to as long as they charge like it's a real game, fans are so frivolous ..

  3. LOL @ OS

    That McNabb thing is fishy.

But I'm still glad Johnny U was recognized. Glad it wasn't Brady

Well at least they got the 2 top qb's of all time and one of them was ours....These modern day qb's don't compare, the game was much different then, Brady and Peyton would have been mauled beyond recognition in those days....Could you see Brady with Lambert or LT laying some vicious hits one after the other on him with no ref protection ?...lol......He would have to use the long snapper on every play with a no step drop and throw while turning and running for his life screaming, I want my Mommy.....It was truly a man's game back then...

  4. Yup all the Brady and Manning nut huggers are claiming the poll was rigged.Lol

And for what it's worth Marino over Montana any day of the week in the second spot.

Crav, you must have been hammering nails with your forehead....4 SB wins to 0, nuff said !!!....

  5. So I'm in charge of the Ravens in a mock draft on SportsHoopla. My picks thus far:

    Round 1 - Zack Martin

    Round 2 - Jimmie Ward

    Round 3 - C.J. Fiedorowicz

    Round 3 - Demarcus Lawrence

I love the Martin and Ward picks. Not thrilled about my selection of Fiedorowicz, but Niklas was taken right before my pick and I panicked a little. On the plus side, Fiedorowicz is by far the best blocking TE in the draft and would be of great use to Kubiak. Lawrence was simply a BPA pick and was an outstanding value. It's ridiculous he was available.

My targets for the 4th round (about 10 picks away right now) are Archer and West.

I recommended you for the job over there, buddy !!...I knew you would do an excellent job at it....Now get us a better back up qb, will you ?.... Go Ravens...

  6. Not likely. Williamson is from Pittsburgh and he worked in the Browns organization. He rarely praises the Ravens. It's always begrudgingly if he does. He thinks he's not partial. So no, I really don't put much stock into what he says good or bad.

Note that the Browns sucked when he worked there and no other team seems to be looking to add him but yet he's an expert. Yeah, no thanks to his views.

Now if Ross Tucker had said this, I might take it more into account even tho I don't agree with him all of the time, he's impartial. Still wouldn't change my mind tho.

I guess it's gonna take Marlon or someone else to take his #1 spot with us to convince you then....I don't know if that will happen but I do know there are far better wr's than him at this point, and unless he gets better, it's just a matter of time before someone does....We'll have to wait and see, hopefully you are right !!

  7. I don't give a #*#* what the experts say! I put more stock in all of your opinions. And I'm riding solo on this one. It's cool with me and my opinion hasn't changed. Williamson is the same guy who said the Ravens had no chance in Denver in Jan 2013. Just because any of those guys say it doesn't make it fact. It's opinion and mine hasn't changed. Lol! Williamson! Lol!

I hear you BG, and you may be right about this guy Willianson, but you have to admit ,if the article said TS was a true #1 and loved all up on him, you'd say, brilliant article !!....lol

  8. I like the idea of West. West is 5'9" 230lbs. At that ht wt ratio, that's a big man and he retains 4.54 speed. Rice is a smaller back and pierce is 6 foot 230. So I think West can pound a lil bit. Plus he showed at his workout that he can catch. It was in the rain. Sometimes it's not good to play in your hometown but if he's not the starter, then why not?

West is a borderline midget, and I've had enough of them....Give me a AP, Lynch, Lacy type that can run over someone if need be....The midgets have to rely on finesse and sometimes that just won't work....

  9. By Jamison Hensley | ESPN.com

ESPN's Matt Williamson put together an Insider post on the true No. 1 pass catchers in the league, and (spoiler alert) Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith was not among the 14 players who made the cut.

This is a fair assessment, and you probably wouldn't hear an argument from the Ravens. Smith doesn't consistently make the same impact as other receivers in the AFC North like A.J. Green and Josh Gordon, both of whom made the list.

Smith looked like a premier receiver in the first five games last season, when he ranked first in the AFC and third in the NFL with 556 yards receiving. He had back-to-back 100-yard games against the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins. Smith just couldn't keep up that pace.

In his final eight games, Smith produced 499 yards receiving, which ranked 29th in the league over that span. The Ravens needed to win one of their final two games to reach the playoffs, and Smith totaled 96 yards receiving in the last two weeks.

Could Torrey Smith develop into one? Possibly. For now, the Ravens want more balance from their passing attack. The expectation is for the receptions to be spread out after the Ravens re-signed tight end Dennis Pitta and added wide receiver Steve Smith and tight end Owen Daniels.

  10. It was an investment by he and his wife, Google earth it, goldenarm rd deltona fl, the first court is Sandy lane, That's his wife

I was just funnin' you Crav, I know what Johnny U fan you are......I'm a Bmore fan all the way but being honest, noone was better than Joe Cool Montana.....These polls are always so misleading, depending on who takes them and where, the outcome is drastically different.....Johnny is my #2, as well as with many professionals......I only wish he would have played for Bmore....

  11. Hey 82, have to tell you this, Iknew Johnny personally as I was his UPS MAN for 3 years as well as I was his sons neighbor for 20 years...well I didn't know anyone except my cuz when we decided to relocate to warmer climates, well I stopped into the local filling station, of course dressed in a ravens shirt, the dude behind the counter asked me if I ever heard of unitas...lol I told him yea, he was a qb for some team in Baltimore. Lol. He told me unit as bought land in deltona and developed it in1980, I looked it up dam be w spot on, its right behind me, Goldenarm rd,

Crav, that must have been a vacation home then because he lived and died in Baltimore.....Had a heart attack working out at a nearby facility and buried at Dulaney Valley Gardens in Timonium.....You ain't draggin' our hero down there in them gator swamps with you Mr.....LOL

  12. Now with Graham departed for Buffalo, could safety Jeromy Milesicon-article-link.gif be the next Graham? Head Coach John Harbaugh thinks so.

“He might be another Corey Graham type of guy,” Harbaugh said at the NFL owners meetings.

“Sometimes you play so well on special teams that you get labeled a little bit that way. … He’ll have a chance to compete for a starting spot.”

  13. Takes 100s of scout to get where players ranked, and then it is just being close. For one person, even you or I could not do it. I can set and read what all these others are saying and go off that.

How many FS are playing in the NCAA?

    Who did they play against?

There are just so many things you have to look at with just one player.

I guess it's sort of like betting the horses, of which I quit doing many yrs ago when I realized that you lose far more than you win...lol

  14. Not trying to dog Plax but he proved he wasn't so bright in his rookie yr.

You know the spike fumble. Can't find a pic of it anywhere or I would post it

Against the Jags, it's on this 10 failed celebration clip about half way....He wasn't the brightest bulb in the box, but had a lot of talent.

  15. Ward is definately the better player, the Ravens might have to trade up in the 2nd to draft him with several teams, including Buffalo, in need of such a safety. If the Ravens view him as that valuable, I would, they would trade down in the first, if possible, or to the early second and nab him. However, there are one or two more safeties just as versitile, / athletic, good in coverage. Fuller comes to mind. While he played corner at VT, he can be moved to safety, tackles well and his coverage, while his younger brother is far better, is outstanding.

I'll have to take your all's word for it, because when it comes to college players, I'm as lost as an elephant in a lingerie shop.... :nono:
