  1. We can't win because Mike Greenberg just picked us to win straight up. He's also picked us to go to Super Bowl.

Aside from being jinxed, we've made 2 average QBs look like Aaron Rodgers the last 2 weeks.

In spite of all the naysayers and PETA activists,

Vick will probably have a career game.

We go 0-4 and are buried by the media and football pundits. The focus shifts to 2016 draft and rumors of Ozzies demise abound.

That's my prediction and I'm sticking to it !

But look at the bright side, week 1 we made a Hall of Famer look like Kyle Boller!

  2. When they lose...it's all Flacco. When they win...it's anyone and everyone but Flacco.

    Same ole' max.

    yeahp, I'm done.

He's right, Flacco is garbage he should go back to making terrible pizza hut commercials for a living and give back his signing bonus that he never earned. Kamar Aiken and Marlon Brown would be all pro on Aaron Rogers team and this defense could easily shut out the Patriots and win the superbowl if we had Tim Tebow at the helm making the veteran minimum.

  3. Are you saying that Joe's salary and the chunk of the cap that he is taking up shouldn't relate to how many games he wins?

Yes, football is a team game. He is 1 of 33 starters on offense/defense/special teams, that is 3%.

Webb, Yanda, Dumerville, Monroe combine for 23% of the entire salary cap on this team, when are you going to call them out for collecting paychecks and not executing game winning drives.

Webb is a shell of his former self, and part of the worst secondary in team history. Yanda is an offensive lineman for one of the worst rushing teams in the league, Dumerville has 1 sack and 6 tackles, Monroe played half of one game.

  4. Clearly our issue initially was the revolving door of terrible QB's and since Flacco entered we have seen improvement in our rankings. But it still seems we have a ways to go when Justin Forsett, last years leader in Y-P-Carries was just graded by PFF as the worst RB in the NFL for week 3. The lack of run commitment has been mind boggling. You cannot run the ball 10 times and expect Forsett to be productive. Even in Ray Rice and Jamal Lewis' prime of their careers it was always the same recipe for success. You run the ball 20 times for 2 and 3 yards and then boom a 50 yarder. You cant just expect a home run every time he touches it and then abandon when it doesn't happen.

  5.

Max doesn't understand the going rate for a franchise QB. Max also doesn't understand that a franchise that jumps from one cheap QB to the next is guaranteed to be a floundering franchise.

    Exactly.

According to Cypher, since $'s per year salary directly correlates to Game winning Drives Tony Romo, Matt Ryan, Jay Cutler, Cam Newton, Eli manning, Matt Stafford, Philip Rivers, Ryan Tannehill Colin Kaepernick, Russel Wilson all would have won those games on final drives with Kamar Aiken, Marlon Brown as 2 of their 3 top targets.

  6. Tha'ts because you are the only person who thinks Joe blew the last 4 games and not the defense.

If it makes you happy here, "Great job defense for scoring two TD's" There I gave them Credit. WhoopDeDoo!

Lets pretend they haven't lost Joe's lead 4 games in a row in the final 3 minutes.

  7. How Kamar Aiken and Marlon Brown are on an NFL team is beyond me. Those two would not crack WR3 on any other roster in the NFL. They are a complete waste of a roster spot. Ozzie should be ashamed having to play these two. I'd take a chance on Randy Moss or Reggie Wayne in a heartbeat over these two.

  8. Agree. Every QB will miss a few throws in a game but overall he was solid.

JImmy Smith, Webb were piss poor. The DL stunk. No pressure. And the LB's weren't setting the team on fire either. The defense played without any fire yesterday. The only guy who was jacked up was Smith, Sr.

I blame the coaching for that and probably staying out on the road for 2 weeks.

The lack of pressure from the DLline was shocking. Especially after watching them harass Peyton the week prior. Carr played with total confidence the entire game. The tackling is pathetic. It's too the point now when a receiver catches the ball I already expect a missed tackle.

  9. I don't typically dwell on past games and hate to belabor the point but, man, was Joe Flacco's pick-6 (to Aqib Talib) in the second half a huge game changer or what ?

I reviewed the game last night (which was painful to watch at times). At any rate, after Jimmy Smith's pick-6, our D completely took over the game and the momentum was clearly on our side. We were completely in control in the 3rd Q, even the offense was moving the ball (including a few Buck Allen runs). Then BANG ! Joe's pick changed everything - the momentum, Denver D's swagger, crowd noise, and most importantly the score. In my mind, that one singular play is the difference between our being 0-1 and 1-0.

The second this play happened my friend, die hard ravens fan who lives in Florida now, texted me "They are who we thought they are, and we just let them off the hook, we will lose this game"

    He spoke the truth.

  10. In lamenting over yesterdays loss, a few Q s quickly came to mind:

    1. In the final potential game winning drive, after Forsett's 10- 15 yd run, why with 1 minute (and 2 TOs) did we pass every down ? Denver was bringing the heat every play; and the run game was starting to click. If nothing else, it may have kept the rush off guard. Hindsight is 20/20 but we had plenty of time.

    - I was just disappointed that Flacco was forced to throw those rainbow lob passes back to back. Would have been great to see him step into a pass and throw a laser to Aiken or Gilmore on a quick slant. Flacco didn't have time to do shit this game.

    2. Who filled in for Suggs after he went out ? Aside from the 10-11 minutes drive, the D actually looked fine. I noticed Suggs had no sacks or tackles. Perhaps his backups are just fine. We lose leadership and veteran presence but maybe Daryl Smith becomes that guy.

    - I am wondering the same thing. Who is the Defensive leader? Who will tell the defensive to settle down and relax when in a goal line stand, or to bring the heat when we need a sack? Doom is too quiet, Webb too quiet, Ngata is gone, Jimmy is too young, Mosley too young. Daryl Smith seems the logical choice.

    4. What the hell happened to our O - line ? Ben R loses Pouncey and everyone in the NFL said the sky is falling. Pitts O was fine in NE. We are supposed to have this elite O-Line; what happened ?

    - I think we just played the best pass rushing team in the NFL yesterday. Ware and Miller are absolute monsters. Can only go up from here
